About liupanwedding

liupanwedding

Hi, I'm Pan, a live wedding artist based in Southern California. I create live watercolor/oil/acylic paintings at weddings, capturing the emotion of your ceremony as it unfolds in real time. By the end of your reception, you walk away with a one-of-a-kind original artwork, painted on your wedding day, in the room where it happened. I trained at the USC Roski School of Art and have had the privilege of painting at weddings across California, Hawaii, and New York. My style blends soft, luminous washes with careful attention to the details that make each couple's day their own.

What makes live wedding painting truly special isn't just the finished artwork. It's what happens in the room while I'm creating it. Guests gather around the easel throughout the evening, watching their own faces and moments appear on paper in real time. The reaction when someone spots themselves in the painting becomes its own memory from your wedding night. And for you as a couple, there's nothing quite like walking over after your ceremony and seeing your first moments as a married pair already captured on canvas. It's part artwork, part experience, part gift to everyone in the room.

    Wedding Art

The watercolor style is so dreamy and romantic, it looks like a scene from a movie. Every time I walk past it I’m back at our wedding.

    Love it!

We weren't sure about adding live painting at first, but it ended up being everyone's favorite detail. The finished piece captured a feeling that no photo could.

    Best Decision for Our Wedding

Watching Pan paint our wedding in real time was honestly one of the most magical parts of the day. Guests kept gathering around to watch. it became its own little event within the event.

I set up quietly during your ceremony or cocktail hour and paint the scene as it unfolds in real time. Guests often gather to watch, which becomes a beautiful experience in itself. By the end of the event, you will have a finished or nearly finished original artwork about your beautiful day.
Yes! the original painting is yours to keep. if the painting needs a little bit retouch, I spend additional time in my studio refining the piece before it's ready for delivery. You can choose between complimentary pickup (El Monte, Walnut, or Irvine) or paid shipping with full insurance and careful packaging. Most couples frame it as a centerpiece in their home.
Yes. I've painted at garden estates, ballrooms, beaches, and rooftop venues across the U.S. I bring my own compact easel setup. For outdoor events, a shaded spot is preferred to protect both the artwork and materials.
Absolutely. Before your wedding, we'll have a brief consultation to discuss which moment matters most to you- ceremony, first dance, reception setup, or a combination. I work from the live scene as well as reference photos taken on the day, so even fast-moving moments can be captured accurately. The goal is a painting that feels true to how the day actually felt, not just how it looked.
