Hi, I'm Laura! I am a lifelong artist with 3+ years experience drawing people live for events. Here is an overview of my process in case it's helpful! I typically arrive before the wedding reception and stay for the duration, taking photos of guests as they come by my table and painting them throughout the reception. For those whose portraits are finished while I am there, I will display them at my table for guests to pick up at anytime! Typically I can paint 50-60 people during a 5 hour reception. I will finish any remaining portraits within 2 weeks of the wedding and mail them to you to send out with your "Thank You" cards!

It's always an honor to use my skills in a way that helps capture meaningful memories for people, and I keep things as engaging and fun you and your guests as I can! I can work quickly and with care for the little details, always looking for ways to give people's portraits that extra personal touch. I'm communicative and will make sure to take care of logistics ahead of time, so you can focus on enjoying your wedding day. Mostly, I just love what I do and feel that it shows up in my work and in my presence during the event!

Base Package (up to 75 people)

Description

This package includes live painting in the style shown on my profile for up to 6 hours and up to (75) portraits! Note that "portraits" refers to individual people, so a painting of a couple would count as (2) portraits. For Weddings anticipating more than (75) people, please choose an Add-On from my Packages List that brings the total to your estimated number of participants. Any portraits not finished at the event will be mailed to you after to send with Thank You Cards.

A fun addition to any event!

The Perfect Unique Addition for your Event
We were lucky to have Laura's live sketches for 250 guests. Her artwork makes the perfect memento. We decided to add this fun, unique experience in place of a photobooth. Laura was so easy to work with, bringing talent and personality to the experience, organizing time slots and fulfilling sketches for many guests in the time she had. Her live sketches were a top mention in our guest feedback surveys. In the age of AI, it was so much fun to experience the gift of authentic art and humanity, with a unique keepsake to remember our event.

Best Decision Ever!!!
From our first conversation, Laura made us feel heard and understood about what we wanted for our wedding day.
