    AMAZING lash extensions, so professional!!

From the moment I reached out to Lashologie Lab, I knew I was in good hands. Patricia's was 1000% honest, completely thorough, and knowledgeable, putting me at ease about getting lash extensions for the first time. As someone with sensitive eyes and allergies to EVERYTHING, I was hesitant, but Patricia's professionalism, expertise, and genuine care really gave me the confidence to take the leap. She took the time to walk me through multiple trials to ensure the perfect look for my eye shape, and the final result was exceptional - the lashes were more comfortable, photographed perfectly, than I could have imagined. Even my makeup artist said they were the BEST lashes she’s ever worked with. On the week of the wedding, Patricia made herself completely available in case I wanted to change anything last minute! I will absolutely be back for special occasions, and I highly recommend her to any bride-to-be on Long Island looking for a trustworthy lash artist. I’m so disappointed I didn’t find her sooner for the bachelorette!!

    Just DO it!

Lashologie Lab was an absolute dream to work with for my wedding day lashes! From the very first interaction, Patricia's communication style was characterized by full transparency, responsiveness, and incredible patience. She made herself consistently available to my bridal party and ensured we were on the same page every step of the way. The quality of her work was exceptional - the lashes were long-lasting, exactly what I wanted, and she truly went the extra mile to make sure I felt and looked my best. Patricia is the sweetest, most angelic person and made the entire process so simple. I never experienced any discomfort during or after the service, and the lashes lasted beautifully through the wedding and even into my honeymoon! I was incredibly lucky to find Patricia after my original lash artist backed out last minute, and I'm so grateful she was able to save my special day. I can't recommend Lashologie Lab enough!

UV Method Lashing (also known as UV Lash Extensions or LED Lash Extensions) is an innovative technique in the lash industry that uses UV or LED light to cure (harden) the adhesive instantly — instead of relying on traditional air-drying lash glue. 💡 How UV Lashing Works The lash artist uses a special UV/LED curing device and a photo-curable adhesive (meaning it’s activated by UV light). After attaching each extension to the natural lash, a small UV light is briefly flashed over it. The adhesive cures instantly, creating a strong, flexible bond within seconds.
Instant Curing - Many clients are taught that traditional adhesives can take up to 24 hours to fully cure, however this isn't true! Traditional adhesive cures by pulling moisture into the air and cures within 1-2 seconds. Instead, the UV light cures it in a manner of milliseconds. Improved Retention - NO lash extensions popping off in the sink! Less Fume Sensitivity - Traditional lash adhesives release fumes as they cure; UV adhesives emit 80% LESS fumes, reducing irritation or watery eyes. Less Allergic Reactions - Traditional adhesive carries 99% cyanoacrylate, the allergy. UV only holds 60%.
YES! The wattage on the light is 60W, and most UV nail lights are 100-140W. We think of UV like the strong rays the sun emits, however, our lights are not strong enough to produce these UVA and UVB rays. The light is only on while your eyes are closed and the light is controlled by a foot pedal, meaning it is not on your eye the entire service. 600 hours under the UV light is equivalent to 60 seconds in the sun.
No! All lash adhesives have cyanoacrylate, even sensitive glue. For the UV method, there are adhesives with less cyanoacrylate in it, however, the cyanoacrylate in traditional adhesive is what allows it to bond and is necessary for curing. In the UV method, the cyanoacrylate is used primarily for its black color.
Our lashes should make our lives easier, not harder! for the best retention and longevity leading up to your special day: - Avoid mascara or water-proof eyeliners if possible - You do not need to wait to get them wet! We wash them as soon as they’re done! - Aim to wash lashes once a day with the foaming cleanser in your kit for best retention - Brush lashes in place after sleep, getting them wet, or sweating!
Unfortunately it is not possible. Patch testing infers that we would put the adhesive on the skin and see how you would react over 24 hours. However, we won’t know until your 3rd exposure if you’re allergic to the cyanoacrylate because we use such small amounts every time you come in for a fill. In addition, the adhesive is typically placed on our lashes, not the skin, and a different reaction may occur compared to a skin irritation or reaction.
No! Red eyes or tearing is an indication that something was interacting with the tear film and causing an irritation, not an allergy. In my experience, it is typically caused by the eye pads being improperly placed or the eye is being opened during the service. To alleviate this, I do not use tape to pull back your lid, and I always use saline solution to refresh the eye if needed. We do not start until the eyepad is 100% comfortable!
