Happy Cat Hotel & Spa Mount Laurel is the first luxury, cage-free cat boarding facility in South Jersey! We offer 32 rooms for your cats to stay in while you enjoy your big day, celebrate on your honeymoon, or for any other trips. We also offer nail trims and grooming services that can be scheduled with a stay or separately. Our groomer is one of two Certified Feline Master Groomers certified by the National Cat Groomers Institute in South Jersey.

What makes us different from other cat boarding places is our rooms. Our 32 rooms are built for cats and cats only; there are shelves to climb, places to hide for our more shy guests, and most importantly, we offer a calm, cage-free environment without dogs and with expert care. Pet parents receive daily written updates that include photos and videos of their cats. You can also add on a webcam to see them 24/7!

    Love this place!!

    We absolutely love bringing our cats to Happy Cat Hotel! The rooms are huge, and it gives us so much peace of mind knowing our cats aren’t stuck in small cages while we’re away. They have webcams you can purchase to check in on your babies. The team provides amazing one-on-one care every single day, and you can truly tell how much they care about the animals. It feels so good knowing our babies are in such great hands. Every time we pick them up, they come home acting totally normal, relaxed, and happy - which says everything. Honestly, it feels like a second home for them, and we wouldn’t trust anyone else. Highly recommend Happy Cat Hotel to any cat parent looking for exceptional care!

    Happy Cat put my mind at ease!

    Happy Cat helped allowed me and my husband to relax and feel at ease that our beloved cat, Booty, was well taken care of throughout our wedding weekend. Booty is a medically complex cat who takes many medications and has a very anxious temperament, but we did not have to worry one bit about him as we received daily updates and photos reassuring us that Booty was happy, healthy, and having fun. Happy Cat even put together an adorable surprise for us (photo attached) to help Booty celebrate with us even though he could not be there in person. It was the absolute BEST decision to involve Happy Cat in our wedding weekend and we truly cannot recommend them enough!!!!

Yes! If your cats get along well at home, they can share a room together. Our rooms can accommodate a max of 3-5 cats (dependent on room), but they will never share with a cat outside of their household.
The base rate for our rooms range between $69-89 per night. These rates can change based on peak season rates, add-ons, and multiple cats. To get the most accurate quote, please reach out to us directly!
We require copies of up-to-date rabies vaccination records prior to the reservation. FVRCP/distemper vaccination is highly recommended but for cats who are not, we require owners to sign a waiver. FeLV/FIV (“snap”) test results are preferred but not required. We also need a Customer Profile to be filled out in advance of a reservation for new clients.

There are no dogs at Happy Cat Hotel. We offer a cats-only boarding experience.
Yes! Every day, you will receive a written update on your cats along with photos and videos.
Yes. We have standard, deluxe, and luxury rooms. A standard room is our smallest with no exterior windows but can accommodate up to three cats. These rooms do have windows into our hotel. A deluxe room can accommodate between 3-5 cats dependent on room. These rooms are either larger or have an exterior window. A luxury room accommodates up to 5 cats and is our largest. These rooms include a TV for cat TV and have floor-to-ceiling exterior windows.
We encourage parents to bring your cat’s food to maintain their regular diet during their stay. You are also welcome to bring any toys, medication, and personal items that would make your cat more comfortable during their stay.
Litter boxes and litter are included with every room and cleaned by our staff. You do not need to bring your own litter, but if you should choose to, that will incur an additional fee.
It’s best to bring your cat’s own food to maintain their regular diet during their stay, but we have food available for a small fee if they run out. We will provide food bowls.
All hotel reservations require a 25% deposit, up-to-date copies of rabies and distemper vaccines. Happy Cat Hotel also requires a profile to be filled out for you and your cat in advance of a reservation for new clients, and a set of standard waivers.
Check-in is between 4 PM - 5:30 PM daily. Early bird check-ins are available as early as noon for an additional fee ($25). Please note checking in before noon requires booking the previous night. Check-out is between 8:30 AM - 10 AM daily. Lazy cat check-outs are available as late as 2 PM for an additional fee ($25). Please note checking out after 2 PM requires booking the full night.
