We started Old World Pizza Truck with our beloved old '42 Chevy, built and designed with a passion for entertaining and food in mind. Our fleet consists of four international diesel trucks, ready to serve both local and long range parties all across Connecticut, parts of New York, and Massachusetts. All trucks have basically the same equipment including powerful sound systems for those of you that like music at your affairs. They all are self sufficient with onboard generators, coolers, freezers and running water. No matter which truck is sent, the total experience is the same- great food, great music, lots of fun and unsurpassed service!

Growing up Italian we learned the passion of cooking and eating great food. Our firm belief is that you cannot cook great food if you truly don’t have the love of food. Our passion is taking the finest ingredients and then creating pizza that you have never had the opportunity to eat anywhere else. The two things that make us happy in life are to cook great food & to watch people enjoy eating it!

    Absolutely Amazing

    OWPT was the best decision we made for our wedding. The charcuterie table was beautiful, the pizza varieties were amazing, and the Gelato ice cream was delicious! We received so many compliments from our guests and we couldn't be happier. Highly recommend to everyone!

    The amount of compliments I have received on the food at my wedding is too many to count! My only complaint is that I didn’t get to try more pizzas! We booked Old World Pizza Truck for dinner service and cocktail hour charcuterie and boy did they deliver. Even the skeptics (“pizza at your wedding?!”) came back to tell us what a phenomenal and unique meal it was. To quote one of my guests, “That pizza truck was genius. Did I tell you that the dessert pizza with peanut butter, jelly and bacon made my list of best things I’ve ever eaten that sounds completely disgusting?” Would book 10x over. Better than a 150 mediocre plated dinner by a mile.

    Best wedding meal ever!

    We were so pleased with the service we received from Old World Pizza Truck for our wedding. From the very first interaction, their team was kind, understanding, and incredibly flexible with all of our requests. They were easy to work with, affordable, and provided unforgettable food that our guests are still raving about. The pizza and other menu items were of the highest quality, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout the entire event. They were even able to accommodate our last-minute timing changes without any issues. We can confidently say that Old World Pizza Truck is the best pizza truck on the planet, and we would highly recommend them to any couple looking for a unique and delicious catering option for their wedding day.

The travel cost for the truck is based on a 30-mile round trip radius from New Haven, CT.
We have a minimum of 50 guests.
We do not offer official tastings. We do have a restaurant in New Haven - One 6 Three. Couples are encouraged to visit if they would like to try the pizza before booking their date.
I don't necessarily meet in person. We discuss everything via phone or email - whichever the couple prefers. We are happy to setup an in-person meeting upon request at our restaurant in New Haven, CT.
For spring to fall weddings, we recommend at least 1 year in advance. If your wedding is sooner, please reach out and we will let you know! We have four trucks and can handle up to 8 events per day.
We serve all of Connecticut, as well as parts of New York, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. We typically stay within an hour and 15 minutes of New Haven, CT.
Yes! We can accommodate gluten free, lactose intolerant, vegetarian, vegan, kosher & halal guests. We are able to source turkey sausage and bacon, as well as kosher or halal meat, if requested.
No, we don't offer cake cutting services. We offer 4 flavors of hand scooped French ice cream - not premade cups. Many times clients will decide to have a cake as well, but it is not included in our services.
