Italic (Previously The Gourmet Kitchen and Roots) is an award-winning, full-service, boutique caterer serving Denver Metro and the entire Front Range since 2002. We are located in Broomfield but deliver throughout Colorado. We can provide many services to make it easier for you such as linens, china rentals, glassware, napkins, utensils, compostables, chargers, chefs, bartenders, and more! We also have a venue Copper Leaf Gardens in Broomfield and The Dickens Opera House in Longmont!

We are experts in multicultural and fusion cuisines and can always create custom menus to fit your individual needs. Our mission is to create out-of-the-box culinary experiences using flavorful local ingredients, gourmet spices from around the world, and above all, offering impeccable event design and customer service to our valued clients. We bring the best presentation, eclectic flavors, and wide variety to any and all events, especially to a wedding! We cook in your language!

    Incredible, the perfect amount of spices!

    I attended an AWARDS dinner and Italic was the sponsor caterer. The main entrée was so delicious. The spices, the flavors and the presentation was amazing! The serving staff was very professional and kind.

Yes, we do for our event center! We unfortunetly CANNOT provide alcohol for off-premise catering.
Yes, we charge a fee for delivery, the fee depends on how far it is, the guest count, and if you need rentals.
Yes, we offer tastings for you and a guest for a fee. If you sign a contract with us, we can deduct it from your total bill.
We are full service. We will take you on a walk-through of available rentals and work with you to find options within your budget.
For summer and fall weddings, we recommend at least 10 months in advance. We are flexible however and try our best to accommodate even the most last-minute of catering and event requests.
We can provide individual Kosher or Halal meals and customize fully vegetarian or vegan menus. For meals where only a few have dietary restrictions, we will most likely not charge extra for this.
