Veg on Board is a boutique, plant-based cake studio serving Long Island and the East End. I’m Irene, the cake designer behind Veg on Board, and I create custom cakes and desserts for weddings and events. Each cake is designed to reflect each couple’s style and vision, and made to taste as good as it looks.

Every cake is baked from scratch using premium ingredients and thoughtfully developed recipes. Alongside classic flavors, I also offer Latin tropical options, bringing something a little different that’s close to my roots. I take a personalized approach and love listening closely to your ideas and details to create something meaningful and beautifully crafted especially for you. My menu is fully vegan, with gluten-free and nut-free options available, because everyone deserves a delicious slice of cake.     Veg On Board was an absolute delight to work with for our wedding cakes. Their communication was quick, reliable, and clarifying throughout the entire process. They truly brought my vision to life, recreating a reference photo I shared but making it even better. The taste was incredible - I highly recommend doing a tasting box to play around with flavors! We also got a charcuterie board from them for our getting ready time, which was the perfect addition. I cannot recommend Veg On Board enough for your wedding or any special occasion - they will exceed your expectations!

    I recently ordered from Veg on Board, for a bridal shower cake and I couldn’t be more impressed. The communication was fantastic from start to finish. Irene was responsive, friendly, and really took the time to ensure all my preferences were met. I got vanilla cake with a strawberry filling, which was absolutely delicious! The flavor was spot on, and the texture was perfect. Would order again :)

    Our Wedding cake was absolutely stunning and so delicious! We're not vegan, but my husband is allergic to dairy. We tried Irene's dessert's before and even as a non vegan I can say they were all amazing. We decided to order our wedding cake with her because we love her work and her desserts taste great. We're so happy we did because our cake was so beautiful, delicious and very moist. I wanted a modern style cake and after discussing my ideas, she created a gorgeous cake that matched perfectly with my wedding theme. We also ordered gluten free dessert shooters for some guests that are gluten free. I wish I had ordered more of those because they were a hit too. We had many guests that were super impressed. Highly recommend Irene and Veg on Board for amazing cake and desserts.

    We couldn’t have been happier with our Veg On Board order for our wedding! The vegan grazing table was an absolute showstopper, featuring an incredible selection of artisan dairy-free cheeses, vegan meats, and an array of delicious treats. Every bite was packed with flavor, impressing both vegans and non-vegans alike. Not only was the food delicious, but it was also a conversation piece—truly a work of art!
