Hi! My name is Kendall and I run The Lazy Baker. I make a variety of sweets, but I specialize in decorated sugar cookies. They’re perfect eye-catching treats for weddings as party favors or extra sweets for guests. I truly love what I do and would love to help make your special day even sweeter. Whether you’re looking for classic wedding cookies, elegant and modern designs, or completely custom designs, I’m here to help bring your vision to life.

The Lazy Baker is a home-based bakery that I started in high school in 2023. I specialize in completely custom cookie designs that not only look beautiful but taste just as amazing as they look. My cookies never disappoint — they have the perfect icing-to-cookie ratio and a 100% satisfaction rate. I am a certified home baker with my Food Handler and Manager certifications, as well as my Allergy Safety Certification. I also offer gluten free, dairy free, and nut free cookies so no one has to miss out on celebrating your special day!

Yes! We make custom designs for each couple!
Usually 1-2 cookies per guest if you are giving them as party favors. If you will have a display with them set out on the table for guests to take one as they please, I would recommend at least 2 per guest.
No. As of right now we don’t do tastings. However, we do have monthly markets that we attend, so feel free to stop by one of those at any time to try our sweets! All markets are posted on our social media channels.
The Lazy Baker operates as a cottage bakery under the Texas Cottage Food Law and is therefore not subject to governmental licensing or routine inspections. However, all health department guidelines are carefully followed, and we hold all necessary certifications and are registered with the DSHS.
No. Delivery fees will be calculated after your order is placed and will be determined based on the distance between the delivery address and our bakery.
Pricing for wedding cookies vary on design complexity and the amount of details on each cookie. Wedding cookies are usually about $50 per dozen for most designs.
Wedding cookies start at $50 a dozen for classic wedding designs for 3-4 designs. For 5-6 designs it would be about $55-$60 a dozen. Price varies due to design complexity and how many designs.
