The Sweet Layers Factory
The Sweet Layers Factory is a boutique cake studio in Conroe, Texas, serving The Woodlands, Spring, Tomball, Willis, and Greater Houston. Founded by Mide Lawani, the studio began in 2018 with cakes for family and close friends and grew into something built around real craft. Mide's training began in Paris, at Le Cordon Bleu and L'Atelier Pâtissier, and continued alongside artists from around the world. We design in all three finishes. Swiss meringue buttercream is our standard, lighter and less sweet than ordinary frosting. Ganache is rich and refined. Fondant carries sculpted, architectural designs. The finish always follows the cake.
Wedding cakes are the heart of our work. From multi-tier centerpieces to intimate celebration cakes, every order is made fresh, by hand, with the same attention regardless of size. We listen before we design, building each cake around your day, your venue, and your vision. Best Cake Ever
Sooo happy with our cake. Mide made us samples to taste, which was very difficult to choose from, they were all delicious. The cake was delicious and everyone at our wedding commented on how good it was. The Swiss Buttercream was amazing... Highly recommend her for any cake, but especially a wedding cake.
