Catherine founded Misfits Bakery with a passion for creating desserts that are as unique as the people celebrating them. Trained in pastry arts, she combines technical skill, creativity, and a love for craftsmanship to design custom cakes and desserts that are both beautiful and delicious. What began as a passion for baking grew into Misfits Bakery. A place where individuality is celebrated and every creation is thoughtfully crafted to bring a client's vision to life.

    Best lemon blueberry cake I've ever had

    Caty was absolutely great to work with. She was able to execute a vague idea with very little input from us and used her own creativity to create something that was so incredibly beautiful. The cake was a focal point of conversation, everyone asked where we got it from. She was flexible with timing, good with communication and exudes a warm professionalism. The cake itself was without a doubt the best blueberry lemon cake I've ever had. It's so rare to have a cake that looks and tastes good, but Caty has perfected it! I've had interactions with a few different bakers and misfits bakery blows other cakes I have ordered out of the water! They taste better, they look better, and I feel good supporting a small business.

    Perfect & Delicious

    Caty did the Cakes & a Dessert bar at my daughter's wedding. Let me tell you.....it was AMAZING!!! The array of flavors & options is amazing. We thought we had truly over ordered.....there was NOTHING left!!! Use Misfits Bakery for any function...wedding, birthday, shower, ect..... you will NOT be dissappointed!!!! Thank you Caty!!

    Exceeded All Expectations

    Misfits Bakery made the perfect cake for our wedding! She listened to everything that was said about the 2 of us and our wedding and designed something perfect. She answered all questions and concerns that we had and addressed them accordingly. Everyone loved the White Chocolate Raspberry! I definitely will be using her for future events.

    Daughter bday cake

    The cake itself was stunning and tasted incredible our guests wouldn't stop talking about how good it was. We actually loved her work so much that we ordered from them again for our daughter's second birthday, and she delivered the same quality and care. If you're looking for a bakery that takes pride in their craft and treats every order like it matters, Misfits Bakery is the one.

We currently offer nut free and gluten free versions of select desserts. Dairy, egg, soy and celiac allergies are unable to be accommodated for at this time.
A free 4" anniversary cake is provided on your one year anniversary in your chosen cake flavor. You may also receive a hand painted framed sketch of your cake (subject to availability).
I have a Food Handlers Certification as well as state business insurance. Both documents are available upon request.
Tastings are $25 and the cost goes towards your final payment if you decide to book with me.
Your final quote will include delivery cost, it is 75c per mile.
Yes, all my cakes are custom designs only. I do not copy designs or have set designs for couples to choose from. Each couple will receive 3-4 sketches either at or after the consultation and are able to make as many adjustments as needed.
My sizing is based on guest count. I typically recommend to account for 85% of guests to eat cake, but sizing can all be discussed at the consultation if you are unsure what you may need.
I offer faux cakes or cakes with extra styrofoam tiers for added height. Dessert tables are available also, as well as decorated sugar cookies.
Yes! We offer over 60 different desserts to choose from for our dessert tables and offer tastings for these as well. Message us for a copy of our pricing guide!
