The Traveling Nova is a full-service mobile bartending company serving all of Iowa. The Nova is also a fully operating coffee bar. Our renovated horse trailer offers a unique and memorable experience for any party or event. Whether it's a small gathering or a large celebration, we will work with you to create a customized setup that fits your needs.     Best decision for the wedding

    This was such an incredible add to our wedding. We had a happy hour in between our ceremony and reception and the guests LOVED having The Traveling Nova for a happy hour! It is so cute, we didn’t even decorate any outside because that was the staple that had everyone’s attention. Would recommend to anyone!

We serve all types of events and celebrations! Weddings, fairs, baby showers, graduations, corporate events, fundraisers, birthdays, holiday parties, and so much more!
We currently service up to 60 miles from Des Moines, IA. Each package is different mileage. For additional mileage we charge $1.25 per mile. Outside of state travel may be available upon request.
We are a dry hire bar. Therefore, we do not carry a liquor license. It is the responsibility of the customer to purchase the alcohol with the help of our calculations on how much we think you should purchase for your special event. You will be responsible for transporting the alcohol to the event at LEAST 2 hours prior to service so when we arrive we can get it chilled & ice-cold to serve.
Yes! We carry General Liquor & Liability Insurance.
Absolutely! Nova can be used as a dessert bar, ice cream bar, flower vendor, coffee beverage station, photoshoot prop and more! Just email us the information and we will get a quote! ​
Nova will need at least 8x12ft space with enough room to back the trailer into your desired spot. ​
Being able to plug into an outlet would be ideal, but if that option is not available we can provide our own generator with additional charge.
We require a 50% deposit when you sign the contract and confirm your reservation. The deposit is non-refundable.
