Congrats you're engaged! Now somewhere in your head, a hundred details just started stacking up. Let the bar be the one thing you don't have to think about. La Mariposa is a dry hire bar made for weddings. You choose the alcohol, we bring everything else: a beautifully styled bar, certified bartenders, ice, cups, garnishes, framed menu, all set up before your guests notice it and packed away before you have to think about it. We started La Mariposa because we wanted to build something personal, where showing up for your wedding means showing up for you. Let's make your wedding unforgettable!

Weddings are one of the only times all your loved ones are in the same room. The perfect bar with a good drink in hand makes striking up a conversation, lingering a little later, and connecting with someone you haven't seen in years, a little easier. That's why we build our bars to represent your big day with custom designed signage with your names on it, a garnish tucked into every drink, & decorations to match your colors. The small details are why guests remember your day. We carry the stress of perfection, so you don't have to.

    Fabulous, responsive, and hardworking

    Great experience! We hired Kevin and Jessy for our wedding on July 30th in Harpswell Maine. When there was a question about them serving in Maine, they called and got all the clearances they needed. They were so friendly, open to feedback, and even started service a little early! All the feedback I got from family and friends was that they were WONDERFUL! We loved working with them and if the need for a bar arises again in the future, we’ll definitely be reaching out to them again!

    My experience with them was simply amazing! The service was impeccable, the drinks were delicious, and they were incredibly organized. As a dry hire, we provide the bar, the tools, and the professional team, while you bring is the booze! Since we’re fully licensed to serve on your behalf, you can relax knowing everything is handled professionally. To keep things simple, we’ll send over a custom shopping list and even offer an add-on pickup service. You just place the order at your preferred shop, and we’ll take it from there.
Absolutely! We carry both General Liability and Liquor Liability insurance, and our bartenders are fully certified. We’re happy to provide a copy of our insurance to your venue if they need it.
Since you purchased it, it’s all yours to keep! We’ll carefully pack up any unopened bottles at the end of the night so you can take them home or return them to the store.
We love a good road trip! We primarily serve Massachusetts, but we’re happy to travel further for a small fee to help make your celebration special.
We just need a flat, level surface to set up on. If we’re using a setup that needs power, we’ll need access to a standard outlet within 100 feet (though we can bring a quiet generator if needed!).
We know plans can change. While our initial retainer is non-refundable (as it secures your date on our calendar), we’re happy to work with you on rescheduling if needed. We’ll provide all the fine details in your contract!
