Fresh Take is a 5 star, award-winning entertainment band based out of central Virginia. Almost every event band can play the standard guitar hits, but we expertly provide music across a huge range of moods and genres to cover your whole event. Like the musicians, our musical director and management are wedding and event specialists. They work with you and alongside your event coordinator on all the pre-event details that help keep your event running smoothly. Our original team has provided live music entertainment for hundreds of weddings and corporate events across the regions premier venues.

It starts with a high bar. Our communication and attention to details sets the tone for our events. We work closely with our clients and they're given direct contact with us. When everything comes together and it's time to perform, our production, to include custom dance lighting, a full time professional sound engineer for live show sound editing, backed by our original hand picked musicians, makes all the difference.     Fresh Take was the perfect band for our wedding reception! They were so much fun and their talent and sound quality were top notch. Great song selection and even willing to learn a new song for our party. Daniel, the band leader, is so easy to work with and was so much help in coordinating the flow of our reception.

    Fresh Take far exceeded our expectations on our wedding day! We knew they would be awesome from the tracks we had previewed and by how lovely and responsive they were leading up to the big day. Corresponding was easy, quick and honestly their enthusiasm in their responses made me more excited for the event. To be frank, they made our wedding! They played all night, no breaks and manged to mesh my tastes (pop, top 40) with my husbands (classic rock). They kept all of the generations entertained. Lastly, they were not simply a great cover band - they are all seriously talented artist. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is that they were the best wedding band I've ever seen and I am so grateful they played on our big day!!

    We were blown away with Fresh Take's professionalism. Their band leader, Daniel, was incredibly organized and they were a pleasure to work with. Not only did they do all the very important, behind the scenes things right (logistics, communication, SOUND QUALITY, etc.) - their music was top notch. Our dance floor was FULL all night long, and they we were showered by compliments from our guests on our great band. They were also quite flexible - learning requested songs and even allowing a family friend to be a guest singer for our first dance. 10/10 recommend hiring this band!

    Fresh Take was AMAZING! They truly made our wedding a party! From the beginning they were great! Coming to walk to the venue, helping to figure out placement, and creating a customized set list - couldn't recommend them more! I kept hearing all night from guests how great the band was!!
