“We booked String Theory's string quartet for our prelude, wedding ceremony, and cocktail hour, and they were hands-down one of my absolute favorite parts of our wedding day. I am honestly so overwhelmed with (positive) emotion when I think about what they added to our day that I don't even know where to start.
As the bride, you're really running around a lot during the lead-up to your actual ceremony. We were kind of running late, so when we got to the venue itself I wasn't really focusing. Suddenly I realized I was hearing a string quartet playing, but they were executing the music I'd selected so flawlessly, I thought I was listening to a professional recording until I remembered that it was LIVE MUSIC played at MY WEDDING. I was absolutely blown away and the emotion of the day just hit me in that moment, and I genuinely believe it was enhanced by the strings! I did a private first look with my dad and they started playing music from Lord of the Rings that I'd selected and honestly it felt like I was in a movie. The emotion was that much more powerful and I still get emotional thinking about that moment. Our guests were absolutely raving about them as well, and in every video I've seen, they are playing often challenging pieces flawlessly.
My ONE regret is that I did not get to sit and listen to them more, and like...what a regret to have! Allison was so wonderful, warm, professional, and lovely to work with. String Theory is the best and I am currently finding myself trying to plot events to book them for so I can personally experience more String Theory!
