Hi, I’m Kate, a wedding and elopement photographer based in St. Augustine, Florida. I’m drawn to celebrations that feel personal, relaxed, and full of personality, whether that means an intimate downtown elopement or a full wedding day with everyone you love. I care just as much about how your day feels as how it photographs, and I want you to come away with images that feel unmistakably like you. Outside of weddings, I’m usually thrifting around St. Augustine, grabbing coffee, or hanging out with my cats.

I’m not just showing up with a camera on the wedding day. I help you think through the photography side beforehand, from timeline flow and lighting to family-photo logistics and portrait locations, so the day itself can feel easy. When it’s time to shoot, I’ll give clear direction when you need it and stay unobtrusive when you don’t. The result is a gallery that balances polished portraits with the candid, unscripted moments you may not even realize happened.

    Kate is an incredible photographer! She captured both our engagement and wedding beautifully, with photos that we’ll treasure forever.     Kate was amazing! We reached out to her very last minute and she was super quick in responding and committing to help us. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and renewed our vows. Our children and grandkids were all in town and we wanted to capture the memory and get a good Christmas photo. Kate exceeded our expectations, the photos were beautiful and so many good ones to choose from! We will definitely be asking her to help us with any photo needs in the future!

Absolutely. While I'm based in St. Augustine, I love capturing weddings and elopements wherever your love story takes you, whether that's along the Florida coast, a neighboring city like Jacksonville, or a destination wedding. Travel is never a problem, and I always approach new locations with the same attention to detail and care that I bring to every St. Augustine wedding.
I recommend booking as early as possible, most couples secure their dates 10-14 months in advance to ensure availability, especially for popular St. Augustine venues. Popular dates and seasons do fill up quite quickly, so securing your date with a retainer and contract guarantees that I'll be there to capture your day. To check availability or start planning, inquire through my contact form - I'll guide you every step of the way.
I've photographed at many of St. Augustine's most iconic venues, and those in the North Florida area and beyond. For venues I have not worked at I take the time to scout the location, plan lighting and angles so every moment is captured beautifully.
Once you reach out, we'll schedule a consultation (via zoom or phone) to discuss your vision, timeline, and photography needs. After that, I'll send a contract and retainer to secure your date. From there, we'll plan your engagement session, discuss your wedding day timeline via a questionnaire, and ensure every detail is aligned so your experience is seamless from start to finish.
Every wedding photographer has a style, but my focus is on storytelling that feels effortless and authentic. I combine a documentary approach with editorial artistry, capturing both the big moments and the quiet in-betweens with intentionality and care. Couples choose me not just for the images, but for the experience of being seen, understood, and beautifully documented.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
My style blends documentary storytelling with editorial portraiture. Most of the day, I'm watching for genuine moments and letting things unfold naturally. When it's time for portraits, I'll give you enough direction to look and feel your best without making anything feel stiff or overly posed.
