Originally a cow and poultry farm, the previous owners had run the property as a winery before Rick purchased it in May of 2017. Our #1 priority at Heron's Hollow is making sure you are relaxed and truly enjoy your wedding weekend. We only host 10 weddings a year, since we give you the whole 31 acres for an entire weekend, as well as provide 5-star overnight accommodations for 30 people. You can leisurely set up your wedding exactly the way you want it. Have your rehearsal on site the night before, sleep on property, and have no worries about traveling to your wedding! We provide tables, chairs, arches, greenery walls, luxury trailer bathrooms, handmade wooden bars, wood rounds, ball jars, and so many more accessories! The Other Barn is nestled in the heart of Howard County, MD, providing a rustic and charming barn setting, close to home. Originally a dairy barn, it now provides a unique, elegant, and warm atmosphere perfect for celebrating life's special moments. The Other Barn is ideal for hosting outdoor wedding ceremonies and indoor wedding receptions on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The Other Barn prides itself on being an affordable, local venue while allowing our clients to choose all of their own vendors in order to watch their dreams become a reality on their special day. Clients are required to bring in a licensed caterer of their choice. We offer a full kitchen, a large ice machine, and ice chests. We will set up tables and chairs for you prior to your event, according to a specialized floor plan that you design with our Facility & Rental Coordinator. Table coverings, decorations, and other set-ups will be provided and put in place by the client and their vendors.

For celebrations held indoors, The Gudelsky Environmental Education Center can accommodate anywhere between 50 and 200 people, dependent on the selected event layout. This building offers a space flooded with natural light and exposed wooden beams. Rentals include usage of a spacious covered terrace and the Clark Native Plant Garden.

Established in 2009, our awe-inspiring venue boasts the wide open views of our permaculture farm located in Lothian, Maryland, just a short drive from Washington, D.C., Baltimore, MD, Northern Virginia and Annapolis.

This historic estate sits on a secluded the 23 acre East Lake. The mansion can sleep up to 14 guests overnight. Minimum night stay is 2 nights unless the wedding guest list is under 35. We can accommodate up to 50 guests in the mansion for small indoor weddings. Tents and rentals and catering are by our selected vendors and we can assist with all of your wedding needs from music to flowers to makeup artists and hairstylists.
