I have always baked. Even as a young girl, I was passionate about coming up with new yummy recipes for family and friends. Art and design have been a big part of my life as well. Inspired by my talented mother and artist uncle, I found myself surrounded by creativity. I have been known to even use the walls of my home as a canvas. When I began to blend my love for baking and my love for design I found my true love - cake design. I relish in the look on someone's face when they see one of my cakes but even better yet when they taste the delicious confection.

I’m a high school English teacher, I’m studying to become a librarian, and I’ve been taking photographs as part of the wedding industry for over ten years. ​

I came to be a wedding photographer the long way around. My dad was an avid photographer and my fondest childhood memories are about taking long walks together.
