“From the moment we started working with their team, the communication was easy and they were incredibly organized in helping us plan our rehearsal dinner and post-wedding brunch. The food at both events was absolutely delicious - our guests were shocked at how great it tasted! The historic space was beautiful and provided a wonderful backdrop for our celebrations, especially with the bridal suite being the Norman Rockwell Suite. The Nassau Inn was a great value and really helped make this busy weekend run smoothly. “As a wedding officiant, I've had the pleasure of working with many venues, but The Olde Mille Inn truly stands out as an iconic, singular celebration site. From the moment you step into the inn itself or its historic restaurant, "The Grain House", (recently voted one of the most romantic restaurants in NJ!), you feel the warmth and hospitality they're famous for! There are so many pretty photo backdrops in every season! Having a beautiful, dog-friendly hotel on site so the wedding parties and family can gather and celebrate together is another amazing bonus that helps the day run seamlessly! Their people are just phenomenal, from their planning staff to the day-of coordination. They go above and beyond to ensure every detail is perfect, allowing couples to truly relax and enjoy their wedding celebration. Literally, nothing is left up to chance! For couples seeking a truly personalized ceremony and reception, I can't recommend the Olde Mill highly enough. They're incredibly accommodating and flexible, allowing you to create a day that reflects your unique love story. (And they have the best fried calamari in the state!) I'd encourage any couple searching for the perfect wedding setting to begin their search here. It may be the first and last place you tour!”

My guests felt so taken care of and absolutely loved the grounds, the food, the service and the lodging. Kate and John were an absolute pleasure to work with and really went above and beyond to help make our big day memorable. Andrea’s service at the rehearsal dinner was unmatched! We tattooed each other at the alter and had greek dancers preform after dinner; John immediately asked what we needed so he could get it done. Our ceremony got rained out and John made our back up plan seem like it’s what we wanted in the first place. Truly couldn’t recommend a better place to celebrate at!”

“We held our wedding reception at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel in November 2024 as well as hosted our wedding room block. We'd highly recommend for both! We have nothing but absolutely positive things to say about Andreea Denes with catering. We've worked with Andreea for about a year and a half now and she feels like family! Andreea is both professional and personable and ensured we knew all our options for a reception at the Loews. Andreea helped us take advantage of all the amazing event spaces the Loews has to offer (cocktail hour on the 33rd floor, reception in the Millennium Hall, after party in Bank & Bourbon) as well as created a custom package for our reception and cocktail hour that reflected everything we could have wanted. Maria and Lena with the room reservation teams were so wonderful to work with, taking amazing care of our families and accommodating all our changes and requests. The entire Loews staff (catering, concierge, front desk, etc) was absolutely wonderful during our stay. Our guests are still commenting on the exceptional service. About a third of our wedding guests stayed at the Loews and expressed it was the perfect location to spend the weekend exploring Philadelphia.”

“The Hotel Palomar went above and beyond for our wedding weekend in the spring. We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and morning after brunch as well as our room block at the hotel. The even coordinator, Erin S. and the entire team involved went above and beyond every step of the way. Five months before our wedding, I had to have major surgery and quarantine for two – three months after. I was unable to attend our food tasting but my fiancé and both sets of parents went on my behalf. Erin was not only understanding but supportive as my own family and friends were – checking in and celebrating with me after the surgery. When the tasting came, the chef sent home full-sized portions for me to try at home. This was in addition to the full-sized ones my family tried as well. The entire staff was there to answer any questions from me or our family. We had several dietary restrictions which Erin coordinated with the chef on our behalf to make sure those guests were included without having to worry. We had a memorial table as well as several things to be set out (guest book, favors, name cards, etc.). I gave all these items to the team and it was fully taken care of for me and they even knew which favors were to be for gluten free guests. Erin provided a list of pre-approved vendors they had worked with before (we didn’t have to use these) and we ended up using a lot of them. Erin coordinated with them directly as needed, photography locations for if it rained and DJ timeline. Due to the top tier efforts of the entire hotel, we were AHEAD of schedule the entire weekend which really allowed everyone to be fully present. My bridal party and I were in the suite for preparations and they continued to go above and beyond. We had a team member bring us our food and coffee order and he was so accommodating. He brought iced coffee when I mentioned that’s my preferences and we talked about our pets since I had my dog with me (as did several of our guests). Our guests were also well taken care of – from unpacking cars for their stays to helping our vendors get to their locations. I would sit here and list every name of every person that I felt were stars but honestly, it was the entire team. Everyone I encountered the whole time was a five star person. I cannot recommend this location enough for any occasion including just a regular weekend stay in Philadelphia.”

“The whole team at The Albion really made our wedding dreams come to life - they are the absolute best and so much fun to work with. Deidre and Jennifer were kind and genuinely excited about every idea I brought to them during the planning process. Deidre, the manager, is so organized and thoughtful; from our very first tour, she made the entire timeline feel seamless. And as a type A bride, I had many questions lol Our guests are still raving about the food, the venue itself, and about how much fun the day was - The Albion knows how to throw a BANGER!!! The hotel is stunning and gave us the perfect non-traditional backdrop we were looking for. It was such a perk to have everything including ceremony, reception and after party all in the same location so no one had to worry about transportation, too. Kevin, the maître d’, and the entire day-of team were so on top of every detail. They had all of our decor and personal items packed up neatly and exactly as they came in, which we appreciated so much. And most memorably, Jennifer was right there for the nerve wracking moment before we walked down the aisle — so calming, so supportive, and so clearly passionate about what she does. Overall, our day was everything we wanted: the most special ceremony followed by the most lit dance party ever. We could not imagine a better venue or better people!!”

“We held our September 2025 wedding reception at The Rittenhouse. The food was excellent, the space looked beautiful, and the service on the wedding day was wonderful. Our dedicated server was spectacular both during our tasting and at the reception—attentive, warm, and one of the true standouts of our experience. The planning process was more challenging. Even after Jarret and I specifically asked to be included directly in decisions, communication often continued through our planner. This was especially frustrating because our planner was not providing the level of attentiveness promised, making direct communication with the venue even more important. We were also supposed to meet with the pastry team, but that meeting never happened. Although the cake tasted good, its appearance fell short of what we envisioned and felt like an afterthought in the overall design. After the wedding, aside from a congratulatory email that included our paid folios, no one meaningfully followed up to ask about our experience or invite feedback. Given the level of the event and The Rittenhouse’s reputation for luxury hospitality, we found that surprising. Overall, the culinary and banquet teams delivered an excellent reception, and our guests were very well cared for. We are grateful for the beautiful celebration, while believing the communication, pastry-design process, and post-event follow-up could have been much stronger.”

“The Madison Hotel was a fantastic choice for our wedding venue. From the moment we first walked in, we knew it was the one and stopped searching all together. It was our first venue we looked at, and our last. After we reached out, Joseph was very attentive to our needs and answered all of our questions promptly. The conservatory is absolutely stunning - it provided the outdoor feel we were originally looking for, like a garden, but with the security of a roof in case of weather mishaps which was definitely on our radar since it was a September wedding. Food was great, and there’s plenty of it! Our guests were blown away by the food and the beautiful, unique space, and the quality of service was top-notch. We couldn't have asked for a better venue to celebrate our special day. It was truly stress free since the wedding package included most of what you’d need. It is certainly a memory we will never forget. Looking at our professional photos, it really captured the beauty of it all.”

“Planning a Brooklyn wedding is no small feat but The Ace Hotel Brooklyn not only made my wedding vision come to life but exceeded my expectations! The team had amazing communication and answered all my many questions with ease. I planned my wedding myself and hired a day of coordinator only because the Ace were so easy to work with. Not only is the space beautiful but the staff are so kind and the food from their restaurant was beyond great. My guests were so happy. I would highly suggest having them handle your cake as well because it’s all made in house and I sent them my inspiration and they knocked it out of the park! Because they handle so much I was able to focus on smaller details and design for the day that made it feel extra special. I will tell anyone who asks if they are looking to get married to check out the Ace Hotel Brooklyn! Ashllyn, Auri, Cindy & Paul absolutely smashed it - couldn’t have asked for a better weekend!”

The Standard, East Village

New York, NY
  • Up to 50 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor

Located off Cooper Square in one of New York’s most vibrant, artistic neighborhoods, The Standard, East Village is cozy, charming, and eccentric in equal measure—very much in the spirit of its surroundings. You enter the 21-story tower through an original tenement-style building before ascending to unparalleled views of Manhattan from the hotel's crowned jewel, The Penthouse. There’s a quiet, calm garden tucked away at street level that in the warmer months is filled with lush topiaries and floral arrangements, and in the cold season transforms into a magical winter wonderland. On the second floor, The Overlook is a cozy room perfect for a rehearsal dinner or cocktails, connected to The Perch which overlooks The Garden. Downstairs, there's Narcissa restaurant, which boasts its own private terrace, the street-side Café Standard, and NO BAR, a highly inclusive new wave gay bar with custom artwork and a disco ball.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Exudes style
  • Has an intimate feel for a small guest list
  • Private area for the wedding party

Venue considerations

  • Lighting and sound are not included
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Better for more intimiate events
“Having never been privy to what goes into a wedding reception, I was in the dark about a lot. So, I had difficulty understanding what to choose and how much our choices would cost. If it wasn’t for the close proximity to the church, I may have chosen a different venue for our reception. The food and beverage was the biggest expense and the biggest source of confusion. The real disappointment of the F&B was the limited amount of food. The shrimp appetizer was good. However, there was so little, if you didn’t grab some, it was gone. Of the three entrees to choose from, the only one that was any good was the fish and the portion was less than one would reasonably expect for an entree. The chicken was dry and hard, a huge disappointment. The lemon tart dessert was good. The space itself is very nice. Fortunately, it was just the right size for our reception.”

“Absolutely stunning venue! We had our September 2025 wedding at The W Loft, and it was a total hit. The view speaks for itself, so much so that you don't even need to worry about extravagant decor because of it. There are also so many gorgeous spots nearby to take photos, like the parks near the water, as well as hotels to stay at. “Last month we hosted our 125 person wedding at the Wythe Hotel in our local Brooklyn. We could not have asked for a more beautiful city venue or a more helpful team. Our sales director JD and our event coordinator Cassie are such pros-- both veterans of the NYC wedding industry-- and they helped make the day a real breeze. At the Wythe you really get what you pay for. We had a Saturday "off-season" wedding so the F&B minimums were high but easily met with our guest count. Our 395 a head included a premium open bar, multiple signature cocktails, passed hors d'oeuvres, a market station, a plated family style meal, coffee service, a wedding cake, all hospitality staff, coat check, A/V team, and hotel discounts. If we hadn't wanted to add extra florals and decor, the space truly would've been gorgeous bare. The Wythe team helped us manage the rest of our vendors and recommended some if we needed. We stayed onsite in one of their giant suites, which was perfect for getting ready and for first look photos. Cannot recommend this vendor enough!!”
