Brian and Alexa met in 2016 when he was pursuing his dream operating a café in North Park. This venture was called Grinds & Vine Coffee Bar, where the community was the most important factor of his establishment. One day Alexa came in as a guest to study and have some coffee. She was quickly mesmerized by the PB&J sandwich and their delicious cold brew options. They shared some great conversations about food and life then quickly became friends, which then blossomed into something more. “Truly a remarkable experience from start to finish, they operate with such excellence! We have been using Off the Vine Dining for a couple years now. They have done intimate events with us, and some of our larger company events with hundreds of people. Brian has always been extremely helpful curating menus with me, all of the menu offerings are so fantastic that I have always had a problem selecting items. He goes above and beyond with taking in account all of our dietary restrictions that some of our guests have, he has even customized and created some menu items for us. I was so touched at one of our events when Brian overheard one of our guests say they didn't do dairy, and was able to make some small adjustments so that the guest could still enjoy every dish. That's above and beyond! Brian and his team always do a beautiful, professional, and efficient job setting up, serving, and cleaning up. The decor is stunning, they have fresh flowers and everything is presented so wonderfully. They even left my kitchen cleaner then when they arrived, I told my husband lets host an event next time we need to clean our kitchen, hahaha!! The service is always amazing, the team is so cheerful and always smiling during the events. You could tell they really loved serving people, it was such a delight to experience. From start to finish, everything was flawless. They took time to understand our vision and executed it with perfection. The night began with appetizers that included lemon-poached shrimp that were perfectly tender, light, and bursting with citrusy flavor. The stuffed mushrooms with pecorino and panko gave them a savory crunch that made them addictive, and the charcuterie skewers were colorful, delicious, and creative. But it didn't stop there. The Italian focus of the menu was nothing short of spectacular. The meatballs were unforgettable and seasoned in a way that had even the Italians in the room nodding with approval. Several guests commented that they were the best meatballs they'd ever tasted. The rigatoni with Bolognese sauce was rich, hearty and layered with authentic flavor, and the chicken cutlets with lemon and Parmesan were both stars of the evening-- so delicious that guests were going back for seconds (and thirds).
