“HiMotive Entertainment & Photobooth did a great job keeping our wedding reception fun and upbeat. While their communication was a bit delayed leading up to the event, they were ultimately effective in executing on the day-of. The DJ kept the party going all night with a good song selection, though they did play 3 Taylor Swift songs in a row at the start, which we would have preferred more variety. The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. We'd recommend HiMotive to other couples looking for an energetic DJ.”

“The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

Our band, LPE Snapshot was incredible and our ceremony musicians were amazing too! The vocalists were high energy and kept the whole event moving. They were great Emcess and they even added some special non-traditional reception activities for us. They were super flexible and played all the songs we asked for- even some very “niche” tracks we asked for during the ceremony. So many of my guests said the band was their favorite part of the reception. I highly recommend LPE entertainment! (I am also a musician myself so I’m very picky!)”

She played before (while our guests and bridal party were getting seated/lining up), during (when my dad and I walked down), and after (when our guests exited) the ceremony and the music was just beautiful and peaceful. I met with her a few weeks prior to pick out the music we wanted and she had a lot of different songs/varieties to choose from. She was very responsive and showed up on time (which meant a lot being a bride). We couldn’t have asked for better music to be played for our wedding and our guests loved it/her too. We highly recommend her as a harpist for your wedding.”

His communication was super amazing - he was always quick to respond to our questions and very helpful in planning the music for our big day. On the day of the wedding, with the cold weather and snow storm, he had to set up at an earlier time than planned, but he delivered an amazing performance that had our guests dancing all night long. “I might be a little biased, as Mike helped my wife and me from day one. He really got to know us and was able to capture the exact vibe we were looking for. There was a moment when my wife had indulged a little too much, causing a delay. Mike made sure no one noticed a thing; he kept everyone engaged and, to my surprise, had people up and dancing the whole time. He is truly a genius and saved my wife from potential embarrassment.
