Words almost fail to express how freaking fabulous our time with The Barker House was! We are just over 3 months married (3/27/2025) and family and friends still remark to us on just how fun and gorgeous our wedding was. A ton of that credit goes to the amazing staff at the Barker House. Right from the start of our first tour, we were treated with such kindness and respect from the Barker House team. We were immediately sold on the staff (who took such time and care chatting with us) before we even fell in love with the venue. Davis-Lynn and Lilly were our rockstars! We were lucky enough to have them with us on our wedding day. The first portion of the day I was incredibly nervous, but once I was greeted by Davis-Lynn at the front door all my worries dissipated. I knew I was in the best of hands and suddenly felt ready to have fun. Even during the dinner service, Lilly was so kind as to sew my ripped bustle behind the scenes. She was so dedicated to making sure we had the best experience. The venue is simply stunning. As two people who appreciate history and go antiquing regularly, The Barker House spoke to our personalities. The speak-easy feel of the sunken bar, fireplaces, and exposed beams are very unique. The venue is in a gorgeous area and we were glad to be by the ocean. The chef is phenomenal as the food service was top notch. Family still exclaim to us how delicious the food was (omg the short ribs perfection!). I also suggest that couples utilize The Barker House's recommended vendors. Not only was payment and interaction with them a breeze, but they were each fabulous in responsiveness and quality. Awesome Blossom, Toast To That Entertainment, and Kristen Griffin Photography were incredibly professional and they each blew us away. I could go on and on... The bottom line, if you looking for a worry free all inclusive beautiful venue and want to work with the best people, look no further than The Barker House! P.S. Brides, make sure you get a picture with your planners! My only regret is that I didn't get a picture with Lilly and Davis-Lynn!

We had our wedding at Saphire Estate in Sharon, MA, and it was everything we hoped for and more. We chose the venue because it gave us that dreamy garden-meets-New England charm that we really missed living in Florida, plus it’s right across from a beautiful lake that made for stunning scenery. From day one, the process with Saphire Event Group was seamless. Their team was responsive, organized, and so accommodating—especially with us planning everything from out of state. We couldn’t attend any in-person meetings aside from our initial visit, and they didn’t skip a beat. My parents even went to our food tasting in our place (bless them), and SEG made it all work without a hitch. We were lucky enough to be paired with Anne, our day-of coordinator and actual angel on Earth. From the very beginning, she felt like a friend—sweet, funny, genuine, and totally on my wavelength. I came into this with messy notes and scattered thoughts, and every time I talked to Anne, she brought clarity and calm. She completely understood the vision, printed and carried around my 3-page Google Doc (LOL), and made sure not a single detail was missed. Even when we made the big decision to change our ceremony location a few months before the wedding, she took it in stride and helped everything fall into place. She had everything perfectly lined up the day of and somehow made me feel like I didn’t need to worry about a single thing Anne, we seriously love you. And to the rest of the team: thank you! Everyone we interacted with on the day of had so much personality, were kind, professional, and genuinely seemed like they loved being there. It made a huge difference. Picking the wedding venue is the first big step in planning the big day, after seeing the venue at Bittersweet Farm and meeting with our to be coordinator, it was a quick and easy decision to book them as a venue. We had a Fall wedding and we were fortunate to have great weather to hold the ceremony outside which is beautiful, however this venue having a 'Plan B' for the ceremony to be held inside in case of bad weather was a key selling point. Our wedding coordinator Alexis was amazing, communication was great and the day of she was so organized on directing us for the ceremony and reception. The food is also a huge highlight, all our guests kept praising how good the food was. Needless to say this was the best venue we could have picked, also we strongly feel you get your money's worth and Bittersweet gives you a very well valued package that isn't no where near where other overly priced venues are charging.

Having my wedding at the Newport Marriott exceeded my expectations from start to finish. You can't beat the scenic location, unmatched convenience of having accommodations under the same roof to the staff that went above and beyond with every request big or small. I can't express enough how at ease I felt leading up to my wedding working with Rachel who was my events coordinator. Throughout my entire planning process, I could always count on her for a prompt response with answers to any questions I had or resolutions to any new requests and concerns I'd throw her way. Being able to have full trust in Rachel was really the greatest gift I could ask for. She made the process so stress-free and it's worth mentioning she's super sweet and a joy to be around! When I think back on my wedding, I'll always remember how helpful she was and how much that positively impacted the entire experience. Every staff member I worked with was incredibly helpful and pleasant. My guests rang their praises after the big day too. The food and bar service was top notch. I used the house centerpieces that were gorgeous. I hadn't a single worry about everything coming together the way I planned and pictured all because of the staff here. I can't recommend Little Gold enough! Des and Sierra are absolutely wonderful to work with and the venue they have curated is perfect. The interior design is so effortlessly elegant, while also maintaining versatility for any special occasion. I have worked with Little Gold on many occasions and each time, I am impressed with how professional, yet personal their communication style is. Also, I haven't even mentioned the location! It is extremely walkable and perfect for a true Newport event. I could honestly go on and on - but overall, Little Gold is truly a hidden gem you won't want to miss for where you should host your next intimate event!

Harbor lights was everything we could have asked for when it came to our wedding day! Julia was fabulous to work with and was very responsive and patient with all of our needs and questions. She was always quick to help or give her professional opinion and never once made me (the bride) feel like any question was too small or silly. Everything about our day ran smoothly and everything turned out STUNNING! The one hitch to our day (an agitated golfer) was promptly taken care of and corrected by management. Since our wedding, guests have told us they are still thinking about how beautiful harbor lights is and how amazing our wedding was. My husband and I could not recommend harbor lights enough!

My husband and I got married at Crestwood April 2024 and from the moment I met the wedding coordinator Melany and toured Crestwood for the first time I knew I would be getting married there. The venue is beautiful, the food was amazing and the staff were all friendly. (Plus my husband was happy to be getting married on a golf course) During the planning process Melany was available and very responsive when I had any questions. She was also open and honest about the wedding planning process and I always felt like I was just chatting with a friend through the year leading up to the wedding. On the day of the staff was very attentive to our needs in the bridal suite and were readily available with any questions or logistics I needed to sort out. I do not have one negative thing to say about my experience with Crestwood and if I could I would re-live the day again exactly how it was which was perfection! Thank you Crestwood for making our day a dream come true!

My wedding at Aqua Blue Hotel was everything I wanted it to be. From the beginning communications to the very end of our wedding day, the Aqua Blue Events team was amazing. Every email (and panic text) was answered quickly. I was able to drop everything off 48 hours before and they stored in a locked closet for me. It’s taken almost 2 months to even come up with the appropriate words to show the amount of gratitude we have to the hotel providence. From the moment we met, we knew it was a match. The chemistry was kismet, like where has kate been all my life?!? I hate that i don’t live in providence because I would have EVERY single event there always. We were one of her many COVID couples and literally had our food tasting the week before lockdown in NYC. Her flexibility and understanding of postponements, and keeping us informed on mandates and our options for everything was truly amazing. Now let’s get to the big weekend, from the SECOND we pulled up we were VIP’s all the way. Every member of the staff knew who we were and that it was our wedding weekend and i have never felt more special in my whole life. When i tell you that i didn’t stress out one bit because i just knew “Kate has this, Kate has this” and man she did! Every single detail was perfect. Everything was perfect. Every single person working the wedding was perfect. Food was EXCELLENT, like ten times better than the tasting. The hotel itself is absolutely perfect, the Rodger Williams suite was a great touch, loved being able to check on our dog from the wedding downstairs courtyard. I’ll be forever grateful to every single person that helped make this long loooong journey to the alter possible and for pulling off the greatest party that my friends and family are all still talking about. So if you want to feel like the most important person in the world, book with them.

My husband and I had our wedding here in September 2024 and the place was everything we dreamt of. Bridal suite is incredible, cocktail room was perfectly sized and the chandelier was absolutely stunning in the main room. Shy Ann was very attentive all day, got all my bridesmaids Starbucks and ran out the door when we were leaving to make sure I sprayed my veil with perfume before heading to the church. The Bay Pointe Club was a great choice for our wedding venue. Emailing with Barbara was a breeze - she was very responsive and easy to work with throughout the planning process. The space has a nice country club feel without the high price tag, which was perfect for our budget. The staff was polite and professional, and they even helped us pack up at the end of the night. One thing I would suggest is adding more bartenders, as we had a larger wedding and the drinks took a bit longer to be served. The food was delicious though, and all of our guests raved about it. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I'm so glad we chose the Bay Pointe Club. The grounds are beautiful, it's LGBTQ friendly, and the affordable price point made it an excellent value. I would highly recommend this venue to any couple planning their wedding.
