“Jerry and his crew made out wedding day incredible! They helped run the whole day, they got the guests seated, kept everything on schedule, and ensured that Ben and I didn't have to worry about anything. When our flowergirl got stage-fright right before walking down the aisle, Jerry swooped in to save the day and helped her find her mom. We initially didn't plan to do a grand entrance into the reception, but Jerry and the DJ (Megan from Music that Moves) made one happen last-minute so our flower girl could have a second shot ar throwing her petals. You're not just getting a venue at Parkway, you're getting a whole team who will make your event run smoothly. If we ever do a vow renewal or anniversary party, we will be back!”

“Big Cedar Lake is a very important place to my husband’s family, as they have had their family cottage on the lake for decades. When it came time to plan our wedding we couldn’t think of a better place to get married than the lake and Timmer’s Resort was the perfect spot. The restaurant and property is beautiful and the lawn going down to the lake is perfect for an outdoor event. Allison was our event manager at Timmer’s and she was absolutely the best. She was so helpful and thoughtful through the whole planning process and was always available to answer questions or figure something out. She made sure our timeline was so detailed and perfect and it really made such a difference. The Parlor Room was the perfect space for our hair and makeup team and all the girls to get ready, it’s a beautiful space in the restaurant and we even did my first look with the girls in front of the fireplace. Then from our ceremony through cocktail hour and reception, Allison and her team were there and making sure everything went the way it needed to. And we got nothing but compliments from our guests on how good the food and cocktails were! Our wedding was exactly what we dreamed and hoped it would be, we are so grateful to the entire team at Timmer’s!”

“We ended up having an amazing wedding at Scenic View Country Club in October 2020. The space is nicely laid out and provides plenty of room with dance floor, huge bar and separate dining area. The wrap around porch provided nice outdoor space and would be great for cocktail hours, weather permitting. The views of the trees and green provided a great backdrop for ceremony and pictures. When COVID hit, there were a few changes in their event coordinators which made us a little nervous but once we got Clarissa a few months before our day, that all changed. Clarissa and her staff really made our day special. She was organized and great at communication leading up to our day. Planning a wedding in 2020 wasn't easy but I appreciated Clarissa's flexibility and help as we got closer. Day of, she was so helpful keeping us on track and making sure everything ran smoothly. We had some rain scheduled but still wanted to keep the ceremony outside if possible. We luckily got a window before our ceremony began and the staff was out there wiping off chairs and leaf blowing puddles so I wouldn't get my dress wet. Throughout the night, the staff continued to do an amazing job with serving dinner and keeping our guests happy! We were also very impressed with the food and heard nothing but good things from guests. Overall, we were thrilled with our experience and very happy with our choice to have our special day at Scenic View!”
