We are a very warm and cozy venue located in the heart of Historic Downtown Montgomery! Indoors we can hold up to 80 people. For larger parties we set up a tent outside that holds 40 plus the 80 inside to accomodate up to 120 ppl.

The Middleton venue is a brand new event venue that just finished building in September 2023. This cozy luxurious event center is also a historical replica of the Stewart and Wright drugstore that was once in old Katy! The Middleton venue is a cozy 1274 ft.² we do provide tables chairs for your event. Our Max occupancy is 85 people standing 65 seated. We have two wheelchair accessible bathrooms with baby changing stations in both and easy parking right next to the venue.

The town of Navasota was founded in 1854 and the tracks brought the railroad by 1859. One of the first buildings built here was a hotel, built by Ms. Louisa Loftin. She was quite the ambitious widow for a woman during the late nineteenth century. Conflicting research shows the hotel was either built as early as 1860 or as late as 1876. She soon met and married P. A. Smith and the hotel bore his name. At first, the railroad brought a great number of patrons, but, unfortunately, the Civil War brought the economy of Navasota as well as the success of the hotel, down, after only a few years.

Moondance Weddings and Events is a relaxed and casual space. We are on a 60 acre ranch that has a house, very spacious garage, and lots of outdoor space. The garage, where most couples book, is fully done with air conditioning for those hot Texas days. It is attached to where most ceremonies are held. The concrete walkway and area overlooks the property to make sure your wedding photos are beautiful, nature-filled shots. We can host up to 200 guests, so we are best for small weddings. We are also a raw venue, meaning we only offer the space and nothing else.
