I love capturing adventurous people in the Black Hills. Home is western South Dakota on a fourth generation ranch, between the Badlands and the Black Hills. I graduated from Lake Area Tech in 2015 with a degree in Photography and Business. When I’m not roaming the Hills with clients in the summer, you can find me at The Stables at Palmer Gulch, where I photograph and sell photos to tourists riding the trails horseback.

I developed a love for taking pictures, mainly portraits, in my early teens. In high school I took my first photography class. I continue to specialize in portraits but I do enjoy dabbling in landscape images when time allows. I attended Northwest Community College in Powell, WY and graduated with an AAS in Photographic Communications. I am fortunate enough to live in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota where my husband and I raised three boys. We are now empty nesters and enjoying our latest stage of life.

Surrounded by Ponderosa Pines and Miller Creek's sounds, say "I do" in the serene setting behind the barns. Booking the Courtyard Barns outdoor ceremony and reception space includes access to the charming farmhouse, specifically appointed for the bridal party to prepare in a picturesque space with a rustic feel. Our full-time event coordinator will help you every step of the way, ensuring that every detail of your event is just right. Fully-furnished cabins at the resort will make your guests feel comfortable and welcomed. We also offer the historic Draper Roadhouse rental that sleeps up to 19 people. This venue is open from June 1st through October 1st, however, our Events Center is open year round. Please call for our seasonal rates.
