Homer, MI

We began our journey in 2015 with a dusty gravel pit and vision for a new home. The gem was the stunning 30 acre crystal clear lake. After purchasing the property we found ourselves hosting church activities and work functions as people truly loved being here. Slowly, we began adding amenities to the property. In 2020 one of our daughters got engaged. As she began looking for a venue to host her wedding we came to realize that the perfect spot was right in front of us. We wanted it to be a very special place and we went to work to create a beautiful wedding venue. There are many opportunities on the property for one of a kind pictures. There are three picturesque options in front of the lake for the service and a new reception building that can seat up to 200 guests. With a 5 acre campus larger weddings can be accommodated with tent rental. We offer DJ service, PA rental, bar service, and exceptional vendors for catering and coordination services.

Where to start! If I could give more stars I would!! My spouse and I have been together for over 20 years and we wanted our fairy-tail wedding. Well we had it! We love the outdoors and feeling like we are up north! The moment we saw Twisted Roots, it screamed US!! The owners of the venue made it a spectacular day from start to finish. When I say start, I mean from the initial call. We were able to come out to do multiple site visits with our wedding party, family members, and our vendors. Erica and Jeffrey made us feel at home every time we stopped by! There offered suggestions and also were very open to ideas we threw their way. We were able to come in the day before the wedding to do an early set up and the day after our event to do our pick ups. This flexibility allowed us the wiggle room to just focus on the day itself. The venue setting is breathtaking!! We had our wedding under the pergola with a tent brought in for the reception. The venue offered a wonderful bridal suite, a grand room for also getting ready in, restrooms, outdoor electricity for our DJ, and lighting. Top that off with a bonfire!! If you are looking for a stunning unique venue, and you want to work with people who care about your special day, I recommend checking this location out!! Thank you, Erica and Jeffrey for making our day truly a once in a lifetime event!! Love, The Romej Family

I loved having our wedding at Red Barn Acres! Maury and Damon were amazing, they really made our day possible. We were scared it was going to rain but she made us see that it would be beautiful either way, rain or shine. It ended up not raining and she put in a lot of work getting it set up outside. They really care so much about making your day wonderful. I will always recommend this venue!! (It’s also insanely whimsical and gorgeous all around!!! We were big fans of the maximalist vibe!)

Can’t recommend Stonebridge enough for a wedding! The venue itself is beautiful with the large windows and golf course backdrop. The tiki bar is an added plus that we loved! The staff was also incredible. Kelli helped us throughout the planning process and was always willing to answer questions and handle any special requests we had. The venue being all inclusive and including food, drinks ceremony, and a day of coordinator helped ensure the day ran smoothly. It was nice to not have to deal with several additional vendors for food, drinks, etc. The pricing was also very reasonable especially compared to other wedding venues we looked at. We received many compliments on the food and drinks and the Stonebridge staff ensured our day stayed on time and on track. We truly had the perfect wedding day and Stonebridge was a massive part of that!
