A small studio in Union NJ with big plans! I have been a photographer for 6 years working as a freelancer. Like back in the day, learning on the field is the best way to learn everything about photography. Starting a Zola is the first step to branch from a freelancer to a business owner / photographer. I'm starting my own business for my baby, Xavier. Working at your wedding helps me be with my family longer.

This review is a mix of both happy and a little disheartened. Our Photographer had such an amazing personality. He kept us on our toes. He kept us laughing, leading up to the big moment however, looking back on photos that were being taken in the bridal suite I feel like there’s a lot of mess in the background of them which I don’t blame the Photographer at all that is our fault and those photos did come out beautiful. Our reception photos came out beautiful, but what leaves us this heart in a little bit is our bridal party photos and alter photos. We were hoping to have close pictures of the altar and we didn’t. They’re just kind of dark looking. Which again I understand lighting in a venue I was just hoping for more of an edit, but the biggest one are the Bridal party photos. A lot of our girls look white washed, as if there was little no editing done to it. There was trash or mess in the background that as a photographer I would hope it would’ve been picked up on so we could’ve moved stuff out of the way. I received one photo back with our entire bridal party, which I was excited for to find out half of their faces are blurry and some people were cut out so I can’t share that photo. The rest of the pictures have shadows in them exit signs that could’ve been cropped out not centered properly. I know the day is a lot because there’s things I forgot for example, we never got a full family photo. My husband doesn’t have any with his siblings and parents same with me and my siblings and parents and with our siblings and parents altogether with us on both sides, which should’ve been something I thought of myself, but I know it was talked about prior. I loved our reception photos. I do wish there was a little more of our parents and us but the reception photos came out beautiful and amazing. I’m just a little disheartened with the private bridal party photos. However it’s an easy fix because my maid of honor is a Photographer and my bridal party is gonna. Dress back up and do their hair and make up the way it was that day and we’re gonna redo our photos. Overall though David was amazing to work with the communication was perfect. The payment plan was amazing. I remember one time having to pay him a little late and there was no issue at all. He actually gave me extra time and told me to wait until after the holidays. And I will forever be appreciative for that I would still hire David for other events. Attached are photos we did like and some that we didn’t - the one with our bridal party missing included

We previously worked with Blue Haus on some other photo shoots and knew almost instantly who we wanted when we began to plan our wedding. They worked with us to achieve the most perfect looks for our big day and were great with crowd controlling our families. The dance floor and venue photos came out amazing and they completely captured our vision with regards to our edits. We can’t recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic service all around, I like working with local businesses, so my wife picked Malta Studio. We had a tight schedule on our wedding day since we both have big families. They were taking pictures fast, just knocking out the photo list. After the cake cutting I liked that they asked us if we wanted any more pictures taken before they leave, most businesses would of just left without us knowing and contact us the next day. Great job guys! We just got the pictures back, they look great. working the wedding album with them hopefully I can post some pictures of the book soon.

You may chose to get married in our gardens which can be found throughout the whole property. Guests will love exploring and walking around the grounds during some off periods of the event. A first floor house tour is also an option so you and your guests get to see the beauty of Liberty Hall Museum.

  • Combines timeless elegance with history
  • Natural elegance with open spaces
  • Provides a dedicated team on-site

Venue considerations

  • Does not have a dance floor
  • Does not allow pets
  • No free parking
Liberty Hall Museum helped to make my Mid-September wedding an absolute dream. We had our ceremony in front of the lush apple orchard, our cocktail hour around the rose garden that was still blooming and our reception under the tent. We utilized the Carriage House during cocktail hour and for dessert. Liberty Hall staff, as always, was warm, helpful, accommodating and so, so patient. There was never an issue and they were quick to fix anything before it was noticed. Our photographer was so excited about all the different opportunities for unique and beautiful photos throughout the grounds, over the course of the evening. I have a hard time finding the words that truly express what an amazing location Liberty Hall is. Almost 5 years later my husband and I are still receiving compliments about our wedding day.

I love working on weddings—a unique moment in couples' lives that I get to be a part of and help immortalize alongside them. Language often becomes a barrier, which is why I offer my services in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.

My fiancée and I decided to book Nivea Officiant just three months before our wedding, and we couldn't have made a better choice. From day one, she was honest, on time, and professional with us through the entire planning process. Nivea guided us through each step of creating our ceremony and made sure everything felt right for our big day. On our wedding morning, she went above and beyond by helping our photographer find the best angles for our shots. Our guests loved her warmth and kindness, and she made everyone feel welcome. This was our first time at Crossed Keys Estate, and from the moment we did our research, we knew we were in for something special. The estate’s 30 acres of history, with stunning gardens, towering 200-year-old trees, and a charming farmhouse, provide the perfect mix of modern and rustic elegance. One of our favorite aspects? The venue hosts just one wedding a day, so all the attention and resources are devoted to the couple—a huge plus for creating a seamless experience. From the beginning, Erika and Jeremy were so laid-back and excited to enjoy their day. The preparation spaces were perfect—the girls had a beautiful rustic farmhouse, while the guys had a spacious house just down the gravel road, complete with a golf green for a little fun before the festivities. We love incorporating multiple, and Crossed Keys Estate offered the perfect backdrop for each one. From the emotional bridesmaids' reveal to the heartwarming first look between Erika and her dad (we could feel the intensity of the moment from the sidelines), and finally, the groom's first look on the picturesque grounds—it was magical. The estate’s swing under the giant tree and the intimate reflection pond were standout spots for capturing stunning couple photos, tucked away from the crowd. The reception space was equally amazing. The modern hall, with floor-to-ceiling windows, allowed gorgeous natural light to flood the room, making for a perfect backdrop for the celebration and the sweetheart table. Working with Katrina, the Senior Venue Coordinator, was a breeze. Every request the couple had was thoroughly listened to, and the venue made sure the day flowed effortlessly for everyone involved. Everything was timed perfectly, the florals (created by the venue!) were stunning, and the food was exquisite. Every detail was executed flawlessly, ensuring the couple and their guests could enjoy the day without a single hiccup. Now that we’ve experienced Crossed Keys Estate firsthand, we can’t wait to return! Our creativity was sparked by the newness of the venue, but we’re also excited to bring that knowledge back for future weddings. Erika and Jeremy’s wedding was a perfect day, and we look forward to more love stories at this beautiful estate.

Our wedding on May 1, 2026 was truly the best day of our lives, and the entire Hudson House team exceeded every expectation we had. We had a bit of a rocky start during the initial booking process, but once Elena, the General Manager, stepped in and connected us with Gabriel, the Director, everything became seamless. From that point forward, we felt completely taken care of. The food tasting alone was an experience unlike anything we've ever seen. It was an incredible feast and gave us a firsthand look at how Hudson House executes events and the level of service they provide. The food was absolutely outstanding, and our guests are still talking about it weeks later. One of the things that made our wedding feel extra special was having the second-floor room available for cocktail hour instead of the overlook above the reception space. While both spaces are beautiful, having a completely separate floor created such an incredible guest experience. Many guests thought the cocktail hour space was the reception itself, only to be amazed when they discovered there was another floor for dinner and dancing, followed by the Stork Club for the after-party. Everyone loved the progression of the evening and how each part of the celebration had its own unique space. The cocktail hour was truly next level. We received countless compliments about the amount of food and the variety of stations. Guests repeatedly told us they had never seen so many options at a wedding. One detail that made a huge impact was having our signature his-and-hers drinks already waiting for guests as they entered cocktail hour. People loved being able to grab a drink immediately instead of standing in line at the bar, and it was one of the most complimented touches of the night. What impressed us most, though, was the service. Every single staff member was warm, friendly, attentive, and accommodating. If a guest needed something, it was handled immediately. The professionalism and hospitality were truly exceptional. A special thank you goes to Maya, my bridal attendant, who was absolutely incredible from start to finish. She was by my side all day, constantly making sure I had water, checking on me, helping me stay hydrated, and ensuring I had everything I needed. She even helped clean the dirt off the train of my dress after photos. Maya was calm, thoughtful, diligent, and genuinely cared about making my day perfect. Before we left, she made sure all of our belongings were packed and organized, and she carefully packed up the food and cake I requested to take home since I knew I probably wouldn't get a chance to eat much during the wedding. Thanks to her, we were able to enjoy so many of the amazing dishes once we got back to our hotel. Gabriel was equally incredible throughout the night. Anytime I noticed something that needed attention, no matter how small, he addressed it immediately. Knowing he was there overseeing everything allowed us to relax and fully enjoy our wedding day. Hudson House delivered beyond our wildest dreams. The venue is stunning, the food is phenomenal, the service is unmatched, and the entire team genuinely cares about creating an unforgettable experience. Everything ran so smoothly that we were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment. The only downside is that the day goes by way too fast. We honestly wish we could do it all over again. We cannot recommend Hudson House enough.

If you're looking for the photographer to capture all the love and joy you feel with your special person, I'm here to tell you, this is it. You found him. Does the idea of spending thousands of dollars for wedding photos scare you, because you can't see the photos right away, no refunds, no exchanges, no returns, and no do-overs, you are not alone. Do the scary thing. Invest your money on a photographer, but make sure you book Jason Rhee. I had a visual aesthetic in mind, but I also wasnt sure how to describe it. As a hobby photographer who mostly takes pictures of her dogs, or snaps pretty scenery and yummy food on vacation, I didnt know how to find to find somebody to capture our special day with the same romantic, yet slightly silly POV. I follow David Suh on IG, because he makes it look fun and easy to get photos you can proudly display, but we couldnt afford to fly him out for our wedding. We wanted somebody who gave similar energy. Instead, I spent hours on Google, Zola, Wedding Wire, the Knot, Reddit, Instagram, and reached out to Facebook groups like Subtle Asian Weddings and Ologies for inspiration. After weeks of pouring through lists of local photographers, reading price packages, scouring albums/portfolios/pages trying to find examples to describe the aesthetic I was looking for, and looking for photographers who evoke the same emotion, I found Jason Rhee. We set up a meeting, he passed the vibe check with flying colors. We had 6 months to plan our reception. We were on a budget. We needed somebody familiar with photographing not one, but three dogs at a wedding. We had an intimate (under 40ppl) wedding, with a LOT of camera-shy introverts (ourselves included!), and we wanted to get amazing pictures but have no experience posing in front of the camera. Where do we put our hands? What is our best angle? Is there enough light at the venue? Should I be serious, serene, or laughing? Don't worry, book Jason Rhee. Jason made the process of working together very easy and it felt like a true collaboration. He helped us plan within our budget. He was as invested as we were in creating our timeline, ensuring we had time for the photos we wanted, and understanding our wedding photography priorities. He provided prompts!!! He also coordinated with our videographer. Everything was clearly outlined in the contract. Our teaser album was done about two weeks after the reception (rest of the album should be done in another two weeks, which is amazing turnaround time considering the hundreds if not thousands of photos taken that day) I’ve always been self-conscious in front of a camera, but Jason was the best at boosting my confidence and posing us in a way that felt natural and look beautiful. We had many laughs along the way. Sadly, one of pups passed shortly before the big day, so we had to make it through one of the saddest months, alongside the chaos of planning our big day. Jason navigated it all with grace and went the extra mile to make sure we got all the photos we were hoping for. We got so many compliments (both during and after the wedding) from friends and family.

Our stay couldn’t have been more perfect. Audry was very helpful and attentive to our every need, from helping plan our special day to making sure the day went smoothly. My vision became my reality. The Whistling Swan is a beautiful venue with the cutest, coziest rooms to stay in. Each morning we woke up to the amazing smell of Audry’s freshly baked breakfast, that tasted delicious! Highly recommend! My husband and I will be back!
