It all began when Hal and Elaine Porter moved their family from the warm sunshine of Tucson, Arizona to be closer to family. They and their four daughters arrived in Utah on Christmas Eve in 1996. Elaine had grown up in Northern Utah and missed the beautiful mountains and seasons. To Elaine’s surprise, Hal had wanted to move to Utah years before, but the timing was not right.
