We had our wedding at the Inn at Pleasant Lake in Sept 2024. The day couldn’t have been more perfect and it was mostly thanks to the fabulous and attentive staff at the inn. The location is beautiful and serene, grounds were immaculate and they remembered every detail that we asked for. Kate was one of the biggest reasons we chose to have our wedding there. She is thoughtful, never pushy or rushed, detail oriented and responsive. Our guests raved about the food at each event (rehearsal, wedding and brunch) and having access to the full Inn and grounds made for a relaxing weekend getaway for our families and us. First Zola review! The short and sweet review of this venue is that it was perfect. If it’s details you’re looking for, then we have those for you too. Prior to getting engaged, we had discussed what our ideal wedding day would look like and had both agreed that a mountain-top ceremony was what we both envisioned. For the moment we turned into the Pat’s Peak parking lot and saw the beautifully maintained grounds, rustic ski-village inspired buildings, and cozy lodge we had a feeling we had found our wedding venue. The wedding team at Pat’s Peak was incredible to work with, helping us through every single step and answering every question we threw their way. A huge standout to us as a couple was how accommodating they were of our requests and the level of personal touches we were permitted to do which made our day extra special. While it is of course important to hear what the bride and groom thought of the venue, an aspect we’d like to add to this review is what our guests thought. It’s been two weeks exactly since our wedding at Pat’s Peak and we’re still receiving non-stop compliments from our guests on the venue we chose. We opted for the summit ceremony and we will remember that chairlift ride and view from the top as we got married for the rest of our lives. The weather was perfect for us (which we know is not always the case) but a BIG reason we picked Pat’s Peak is because we liked the weather back up options that were provided to us. Our guests RAVED about the chairlift ride to the top for the ceremony and the scenic ride down for the reception. Special call out here for the lift operators who went above and beyond to be friendly and genuinely excited for our big day. As the bride and groom, we loved the ability to set up lawn games like giant Jenga and cornhole on the deck that provided the perfect environment for guests to enjoy a cocktail, mingle, and connect during cocktail hour and the reception. We opted for a buffet style meal, which provided more than enough food for our guest count of around 100. Everything from the apps, buffet dinner, s’mores bar and ice cream sundae bar was absolutely delicious. To wrap this review up, we’d like to call out Pat’s Peak staff including Brigid and Mary Beth. These two (including our bartenders, and the rest of the amazing staff) worked tirelessly in perfect coordination with our vendors to make sure our day was completely perfect and ran smoothly. We cannot thank them enough for all their help and hard work. Prior to our wedding, we had no connection or tie to Pat’s Peak but now, it will forever hold a special place in our hearts. If you’re considering Pat’s Peak and looking for a quaint, rustic, and inexplicably cozy wedding venue, we’ve found it.

Mayfair Farm

Harrisville, NH
  • Up to 160 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Outdoor & indoor
  • Starts at $16,000
  • Offer

In 2011 we purchased an old dairy farm in a quiet corner of Harrisville, New Hampshire. We cleared fields, planted orchards and gardens, built barns and a commercial kitchen, boiled maple syrup, raised pigs and sheep, and opened a farm store. Our goal was to create a thriving farm that would serve our family, the community, and visitors like you. Today, that dream is a reality. Mayfair Farm offers a complete special events package that is truly unique. With our inspiring views, welcoming barn, and farm-to-table menu, your family and friends will share a one-of-a-kind experience. Our menu is hand-crafted and ethically produced, and each item is made with the most important ingredient—love. And, as our client, you will enjoy the benefits of flexibility and collaboration as we guide you through each step of the event-planning process. If you can think it up, we would love to help you make it happen. We look forward to sharing our farm with you! Sarah Heffron and Craig Thompson

Why you'll love this venue

  • Provides setup and cleanup
  • Private area for the wedding party
  • Both indoor and outdoor options

Venue considerations

  • Additional event staff required
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • On-site parking not available
To find a wedding venue that is as picture perfect, serene, elegant, and magnifies the beauty of New Hampshire all in one place is rare, but this is exactly what Mayfair Farm has achieved. My husband and I were lucky enough to have been married at Mayfair Farm in August 2024. From the very beginning, Mayfair Farm spoke volumes to us as not only does the entire venue represent our home state of NH, but their focus on farm-to-table food sold us in a heartbeat. As two foodies, my husband and I could not get over how unique of an experience it was to help curate our wedding menu based off of Sarah and Craig’s farm and to morph our food to fit our own food-loving wants. Sarah and Craig are a wonderful duo and to have been able to work with Sarah and her incredible team was a treat. They provided effortless class and taste throughout our rehearsal dinner and entire wedding day. Sarah and her team are easy to communicate with and provided excellent insight to any questions that arose throughout the wedding planning process. My husband and I cannot speak highly enough of Mayfair Farm!

My husband and I got married at Okemo in August 2025, and we couldn’t recommend it more! The resort is absolutely stunning—the grounds are beautifully maintained, the location is incredibly convenient, and the town of Ludlow is adorable. Since most of our guests were traveling from out of town, having everyone stay in one place for the entire weekend was priceless. Our guests loved the variety of activities at the resort, how easy it was to pop into town, and the many room options available at Jackson Gore Inn. What truly sealed the deal for us, though, was the wedding team at Okemo. Kim Vezina worked closely with my mom and me throughout the whole planning process. Our monthly and weekly Zoom calls with her kept us organized and completely at ease. On the wedding day, Kim was with me every step of the way—solving problems on the fly and making everything run smoothly. My husband and I also wanted our first look at the top of the mountain, and Kim handled every detail to make it happen. She is truly on your team! Redmond was also incredibly helpful the entire wedding weekend, always available for anything we needed through set up. The food and bar service were excellent—plated quickly, delicious, and the team was wonderful to work with as we chose our menu. Okemo is truly an underrated wedding venue. The first Common Man Restaurant opened in Ashland, NH in 1971. In the summer of ’72, we catered our first uncommon event. More than 50 years later, we offer 17 event venues in five locations across the state. We’ve catered to countless happy brides, local businesses, proud parents, raucous best men, bridesmaids, and delighted friends. We’ve planned perfect roasts, showers, BBQs, fundraisers, anniversaries, parties, dinners, and weddings. Our success is built on recognizing that your special event is just that, a special point in time. Our friendly, experienced catering team remains true to that understanding and is devoted to helping you realize exactly what you have in mind. We’ve renovated the event halls at The Common Man Inn & Spa in Plymouth and opened The Nest, a cozy event space at Common Man Ashland. We’re excited to host events at The Barn on the Pemi, our rustic event barn located in Plymouth, accommodating up to 300 guests with views of the mountains and Pemi river.

Why you'll love this venue

Venue considerations

  • On-site parking not available
  • Not for you if you are looking for something nontraditional
  • No dedicated areas for getting ready
My husband and I got married at the Barn on the Pemi on 5/31/24, which works closely with the Common Man Inn & Spa. We had our room block, rehearsal dinner, and after party at the Inn, but I'm here to rave about our experience with the Spa! After booking our venue, I spoke to the Inn about any accommodations or recommendations they might have for somewhere for myself and my bridesmaids to get ready the morning of the wedding. They actually have what they affectionately call the "Getting Ready Room," which can be reserved ahead of time. I saw some pictures, saw that the room had some nice natural light, floor to ceiling mirrors and salon chairs, so I figured it was our best bet. Come wedding week and I went down to the spa with my bridesmaid to see the room and the pictures definitely did not do it justice! The room is large with a sitting area with a couch, table and chairs in the middle and salon-style chairs and mirrors around the perimeter. Our hair and makeup stylists were THRILLED with the setup, since they are used to cramped, poorly-lit hotel rooms for wedding prep! I will let the pictures speak for themselves, but want to add one more thing. The night before the wedding, one of my nails (done at a salon back home) broke and popped off - nightmare! I kept the broken piece and brought it to the Spa the morning of the wedding to see if they could help. The Spa staff went above and beyond to make sure my nails looked perfect. One of their nail techs sat in front of my while I was having my makeup done, glued the nail piece back on, and put a top layer of the. white french tip and clear coat shellac over all of my nails to make sure they all looked the same. I would highly recommend the Spa Getting Ready Room for the morning of your wedding - the space and the staff are fantastic!

My wedding was at Stonebridge on 9/16/2023 and we had the time of our lives. Jason and his team really made sure that myself and my husband were taken care of the whole day. Hurricane Lee came first thing in the morning but that didn't stop us. After clearing around 1, Jason and the team set up everything outside for a beautiful outdoor windy ceremony. For pictures, there team knew exactly were to take us around the property for the best photo shots. The food was excellent and they were very accommodating to our guests who had allergies.

Venue considerations

We are so glad we chose Lake Morey resort for our wedding venue. Our top priority for our venue was to find a place where our friends and family would be able to share quality time together, have fun, and enjoy the outdoors. Lake Morey nailed it with their social environment, gorgeous grounds, and amazing live music. We had our ceremony in the Hemlock Gardens, with cocktail hour in Mapleview Gardens & tented reception on the lawn — all the venues dressed up beautifully for the big day. While food wasn’t a huge priority for us when selecting the venue, Lake Morey greatly exceeded our expectations. The reception food and hors d’oeuvres were delicious and garnered a ton of compliments. And no review of Lake Morey would be complete without a shout-out to Bonnie, the in-house wedding coordinator, who is exceptional. She was extremely organized, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire process. When we had a scare about getting rained out, she proactively made sure to book the nicest spaces for backup venues at no upcharge for us (fortunately, the skies did clear up for the big day, but she saved our welcome party from disaster). It was so clear to us that Bonnie really cares about the couples she works with — it’s more than just a job for her. Thank you once again Bonnie and all the amazing staff at Lake Morey!

Absolutely speechless. Dell-Lea is chef’s kiss perfect. We had the most amazing fall weather and foliage and sunset. Completely blow away by how effortlessly beautiful the day was - we brought no outside/ceremony decorations because the backdrop is so stunning. Laurie - our day of coordinator - was the master of all masters. She handled everything and seemed to be in 10 places at once all night long. She always checked in with us to see if we needed more food or drinks. She seamlessly handled a vendor snafu - our three bus drivers did not order a meal when I asked before our final headcount was due, but requested a meal on arrival at the venue. Laurie provided them each a meal and I didn’t hear a peep about it until the night was over! She helped my family pack up our decorations at the end of the night and made sure we had everything we needed. She even donated my bridesmaids bouquets to a local nursing home! The food - cannot say enough about how delicious the food was. Multiple guests came up to us during and shortly after dinner service to rave about their meals - the stuffed chicken, espresso encrusted filet, and cashew cheese ravioli. All so good, and my husband and I had all three at our table! The appetizers - incredible! The family recipe crab rangoons are worth the hype! The bartenders were incredible all night and nailed our signature cocktails. Working with Dell-Lea was seamless. I sent only a handful of emails before our details meeting because everything is so clear. Dell-Lea offers rental decorations, so we chose to rent table numbers, eucalyptus strands, centerpiece accents, and popular signage, saving us so much money. We cannot say enough good things about Dell-Lea - our day was so beautiful and perfect. We hope to be a guest at Dell-Lea someday!

Our experience with Owl’s Nest was absolutely incredible from start to finish! From the moment we toured the venue with Gail, we knew this was where we wanted to get married. She made the entire booking process so easy and helped us choose the perfect date. Owl’s Nest truly offers an all-in-one experience — the on-site lodging made it so convenient for our family and friends, and every space on the property is breathtaking. We hosted our wedding in The Lakehouse, which was stunning, and originally planned to have our rehearsal dinner and welcome party in The Vault. When our guest list grew, the team seamlessly moved our welcome party to The Sunset Pavilion, and it worked out perfectly! We even reserved the golf simulators at Slice, which added such a fun touch for our guests. A huge thank-you to Taylor, our event planner — she was absolutely amazing. She put so much thought and detail into everything and made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. The night before and the day of the wedding, she and her team went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. I was nervous about vendor coordination, and Taylor personally reached out to each one to confirm everything so I wouldn’t have to worry. On our wedding day, she was my cheerleader, problem-solver, and calm in the chaos. I know Owl’s Nest has several planners, but I truly feel so lucky to have had Taylor. She made our entire experience unforgettable, and we could not have asked for a better venue or team. I would recommend Owl’s Nest to any couple looking for a beautiful, seamless, and joy-filled wedding experience!

Manchester Country Club - NH

5.0

Bedford, NH
  • Up to 260 guests
  • All-inclusive

  • Starts at $13,000

Manchester Country Club, a wedding venue located in Southern New Hampshire, has been celebrating the greatest love stories since 1923. They LOVE love, and care about providing only the most quality services for your special day. The Club offers various event venues on-site so that couples can choose the right space for their big day.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Space for a large guest list
  • Both indoor and outdoor options
  • Versatile for various event styles

Venue considerations

  • Best for events with big guest lists
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Does not allow pets
Manchester country club was the perfect venue for us. I can't think of a single con for the venue. Everything was amazing. There are so many pretty areas and it's separated from the rest of the country club and there is only one wedding per day so it feels very private. We got married on the balcony which was gorgeous. All the food was really, really good. The drinks were really good. My signature drink was a mojito and it was a perfect mojito. Both Kim and Fallon were pros and very easy to work with and incredibly helpful. In my opinion the biggest separator between this venue and other venues we looked at was the bridal suite. We got access to the bridal suite at 9am and the bridal suite is a room that was made to be a bridal suite. It's got a sitting area, a makeup and hair counter and chairs, an area with 3 walls of mirrors, and a private bathroom. The mirror area made really nice getting ready photos. My bridesmaids and I spent hours getting ready and it was so nice just to show up in the morning, have the hair and makeup team come to the venue and just be at the venue for the rest of the day and not have to worry about changing locations. We also were free to take photos before the ceremony so a couple hours before the ceremony we took our first look, wedding party, and close family members photos. We spent the first 20 minutes of the cocktail hour getting the remaining photos and then enjoyed our own cocktail hour. We looked at other venues where you were not allowed at the venue until as little as 90 minutes before your ceremony and that was not for us. My goal for the wedding was to minimize stress and be able to enjoy everything about the day and Manchester Country Club was great for that. Everything was easy. There were zero surprises with the bill and zero hidden fees. Considering how good the food, bar, and overall experience was, I was very happy with the prices. Our guests loved the venue too. Just an amazing venue. This was the second to last venue we toured, out of a list of six we wanted to see in person, and by the end of the tour I knew this was our venue.

When we first moved to Brattleboro back in 2023, the Retreat Farm was one of the first places we visited. Not only is the mission of nonprofit phenomenal, the organization hosts events that bring community together and folks closer to nature. When deciding on our wedding venue a year later, the Retreat Farm was one of our top choices. At the time, the North Barn was being renovated and had not yet been finished, but even then we saw the vision. I also think it is important to mention, as a queer couple, we received nothing but respect throughout the entire process. From the beginning, everyone we worked with from signing the contracts to planning the actual wedding, we received enthusiasm for our less than traditional wedding (Gothic Victorian/Halloween themed). Retreat Farm from the beginning was exceptional! I cannot reiterate enough how kind everyone was to work with. Working with Samantha as the venue coordinator was a breeze. She was accommodating, fun, and well organized. She answered every question, no matter how little. Planning a wedding is no easy task, but every step of the way, Samantha and the Retreat Farm staff were there. Franklin and the staff day of were also all so accommodating and there to help address any last minute hiccup! Everyone was also so fun and inviting to all of our guests dressed up in their costumes. We had an outdoor ceremony on Outlook Meadow and I know the work that would've gone into hauling the arbor, chairs, and sound system up that hill, but they did what they could to make our day PERFECT! We had our reception in the North Barn and even with spending time in the space before, I could not have imagined how perfect it was with all of our decor! The wood beams, tables, and lights balanced perfectly with our elegant Victorian and silly Halloween decor! No matter what style wedding you're looking for, the Retreat Farm will help you make it happen in the most beautiful spaces! If I could give more than five stars, I would!
