Having our wedding at Bay Pointe was to put it simply: perfection. We booked our wedding over a year in advance and from the first few seconds that we stepped in for our tour of the venue, we were in love. Mariesa, our sales manager, was so personable and so accommodating. The entire process leading up to the wedding was so efficient working with Madison. She was so communicative and so easy to work with. All of our changes, questions, recommendations, literally everything - she had an answer to! We always felt so welcomed by the entire staff. Our rehearsal dinner at the Bay Pointe Bar and Grill was beautiful and the staff that night were amazing - they made sure we were doing ok, our family was fed and everyone was having a good time. Lauren, our day of coordinator was excellent at her job. She worked so well with all of our vendors and family. We had the BEST time ever. The value is worth the money you spend. A huge thank you to everyone on the Bay Pointe team who helped us along the way and the weekend of.

We recently toured The Reserve a Grand Venue and were absolutely blown away by the experience. From the moment we stepped inside, we could feel the history and character of the building. Once a grand bank, now being thoughtfully and beautifully restored into a breathtaking event space. The team has clearly poured their heart into every decision, and it shows. Fair Oaks Farms was a nice venue for our wedding, though their communication style was a bit minimal on the actual wedding day. The quality of their work and value was very nice - the servers were attentive and helpful throughout the evening. However, when our official reception time was up at 11pm, the staff turned on all the lights and rushed us to gather our belongings and vacate the reception hall immediately. This made the end of our special night feel a bit abrupt and hurried. Overall, Fair Oaks Farms provided a pleasant setting for our wedding, but could improve the communication and transition at the end of the night.

My husband and I had the most perfect wedding at The Barn and Vineyard in June 2023! I cannot say enough about how helpful the staff was, especially Amy, Joe, and Kyle, leading up to our wedding day. Amy was available to answer all of our questions and had prompt, detailed replies each time. Joe served as our DJ and he made sure our ceremony ran smoothy and he kept our guests having fun on the dance floor all night! Kyle served as our caterer and we are still receiving compliments on our food. He also created delicious food for our rehearsal dinner, pre-wedding snacks, cocktail hour, and late night pizza. The outdoor space in the vineyard was breathtaking and served as the most beautiful backdrop for our ceremony as well as pictures! The indoor space was perfect for our reception. Our guests truly enjoyed the space and complimented how unique it was having indoor space, outdoor space, and an upstairs area for the younger guests to have fun! We also rented the cigar bar as a unique feature, which was a huge hit! The rental of the photo booth was also a hit with our guests all night long. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day, and most of that is thanks to the venue and their staff! Also, it was wonderful that The Barn and Vineyard is a family owned and run business who takes pride in providing extraordinary care for their clients, plus the option to hire family members as the DJ and chef was so convenient and both are beyond talented at what they do! I would recommend The Barn and Vineyard to any couples looking for a perfect combination of outdoor and indoor space for their wedding! The Design Barn was the perfect venue! They are very accommodating and will work with you to put your vision together. Alex was so helpful with making our dreams come to life. Jorge makes the BEST food. You don't have to worry about food and drinks. They have a team there to do it all! The venue also includes all your seating, plates/silverware/glasses, linens, cute Photo Booth area, along with tables for your welcome set up. We've been to many venues where you get charged extra for security, plating, linens, extra chairs, etc. They also have plenty of space to have over 200 people! We never felt cramped or crowded. The Design Barn also has beautiful and fun SPACIOUS rooms for the bridal parties. They also have a very cute and fun room for when the bride gets ready. We've been to other venues where there were no bridal suites or they were extremely small. Our bridal party had 9 people on each side so room to get ready was a must. The venue also provides drinks and lunch for when you are getting ready. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. We are so glad we picked the Design Barn. It was PERFECT!!

County line was amazing with helping me on the big day. Despite the rain I had my wedding turned out amazing. They responded in a timely manner and the food was amazing . I was shocked the first time I visited and met with Angelique and Richard. We had a really great time with them, felt comfortable and well informed. They were very transparent and we didn’t feel like they were just trying to get the sale like every other place we toured. Not to mention the prices for what you get is worth every penny. The place is clean, well kept and everything we wanted . And being a photographer, this place has the perfect lighting. Excited to work with them for our event very soon!

Beautiful venue and stunning for the price compared to a lot of locations. Really easy to work with but we found ourselves repeating details A LOT and yet some of them got lost anyways - for example, I had made a full allergy list for the reception organized by table, and yet staff brought me (the bride) food I am dangerously allergic to. It was fixed quickly but annoying because I’d spent so much time preparing this and details got lost anyways. This happened in multiple ways. Several things—ceremony set up, rehearsal timeline, etc—were easily fixed, but shouldn’t have needed to be fixed in the first place, given the amount of prep we did.

The Haley Mansion was the perfect choice for our wedding venue. From the very beginning, their communication style was outstanding - they were always available to meet with us face-to-face, were incredibly responsive, and showed genuine kindness throughout the entire planning process. The quality of their work and value was exceptional. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful, with a perfect blend of traditional elegance and unexpected modern touches. Whenever we encountered any problems or challenges, the Haley Mansion team was quick to present alternative solutions, and they even provided us with a day-of time keeper to ensure the ceremony ran smoothly. We loved working with our wedding coordinator, whose bubbly personality was everything we could have hoped for. To say Cog Hill did a great job with our wedding reception is an understatement. The level of attention to detail, prompt service, and genuine care that went in to making our night as special as it could be was beyond any expectation I had. Monika was our event coordinator and executed my perfect fall wedding to a T. The staff were fantastic from having signature cocktails ready to go as guests entered, to promptly serving dinner & clearing tables with out a hitch to get the dance floor open ASAP. Had our wedding 9/14/24. Absolutely amazing. Katy was so helpful and attentive and made planning a breeze. The staff were absolutely amazing and helped every step of the way. They would bring me drinks or anything I needed, helped carried my bouquet when I was walking with my dress, and even brought the golf cart around from the train since we were running late for our first dance. We rented out the slide and train and both were a HUGE hit. Everyone the next day raved about how much fun they had and it was one of the best weddings they have ever been too. The staff even let the slide go for another half hour since the kids (and adults) were having so much fun. Definitely recommend this venue if you want a rustic vibe.

We had an amazing experience with the Sculpture Garden at Bridgeport Art Center. We started our process with Claire who was super accommodating with a last minute Friday evening tour to accommodate my work schedule, once we booked we worked with Eleanor who was also wonderful. Communication with both was timely and efficient and they were super patient with all my questions! The space itself was stunning, guests are still commenting on it a month later! For us it was awesome to have an “outdoor wedding” that didn’t need a rain plan due to the cover on the ceremony space. You felt like you were outside with more of the comforts of an inside space, and the pictures turned out amazing with the natural light, tall ceilings and chandeliers! The indoor space is just as lovely and the night flowed beautifully thanks to the venue team!
