Hi, I’m Heather, the heart behind the flowers. What started as a love for beautiful blooms quickly grew into a passion for creating arrangements that bring joy, comfort, and connection to everyday moments. Each arrangement is thoughtfully designed with fresh, seasonal flowers and a creative eye for color, texture, and movement. Whether it’s a simple bouquet to brighten someone’s day or flowers for a meaningful celebration, my goal is to create designs that feel natural, beautiful, and full of life. Helping people celebrate, comfort, and surprise one another through flowers is truly the best part of what I do.

Working with Heather on my winter wedding has been a great experience. She is attentive, understanding, and knowledgable. I can't wait to see the final product!

Just rent the flowers y’all - after getting multiple thousands of dollars in quotes from florists for our tiny dinner party wedding I started to look for other options. SSB had great reviews, in person or zoom consultations and a VERY helpful FB group that helped me pull the trigger even being pretty skeptical that the quality wouldn’t be there. Fast forward to the day I unboxed them and I was floored, some of the petals even FEEL REAL. Don’t know how they do it. Shipping was easy, fast and return labels were in sticker form to just pop back on. Our guests had no idea they weren’t real, especially with our low light reception it was impossible to tell. It was a breezed - we spent about 450 for 9 large centerpieces, bouquet and a few boutonnières for the guys from the Marlowe collection rather than the 2-3k quite well we’re getting from florists here in Atlanta that at the end of the day aren’t sustainable and would have looked the same (at best). Just rent the flowers y’all.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.8 (100 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Sugarloaf, PA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

From the start, their communication was incredibly helpful, responsive, and informative, which put us at ease throughout the planning process. When the flowers arrived, they were of the highest quality and absolutely stunning. Woodland Floral Design Co.
Rating: 5.0 (78 reviews)

Proud Cat & Dog Mom // Your New Wedding Vendor BFF It’s never been just about pretty flowers to me. I started out in social work because I wanted to serve and connect with others. I first entered the floral design world as an intern in 2016 and noticed a lack of originality in designs and a need for more connection between the florist and the couple. When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

Misha is the absolute best! She was a vendor where I actually looked forward to calls with her because she just gets it. We hired Misha, looking for a colorful, maximalist wedding, and boy, did she deliver. She took my Pinterest boards and our guidance and gave us florals beyond our wildest dreams. Along the wa,y she was so kind and thoughtful, always asking how wedding planning was going and genuinely listening to the answer (even if it wasn't "it's going amazing").

Dana is amazing!!! She is so talented and made my floral experience completely seamless. When I was shopping around, I talked to a lot of really amazing and talented florists, but Dana stood out because of her drive, professionalism, and her understanding of my vision. Of note, I was between DM Events and one other vendor for my florals (he was recommended by my venue) and when I had one of my calls with him, I was quoted almost three times the price that Dana had quoted me. When I mentioned that, this vendor told me that "if I could get it for less, go with the other vendor." He genuinely didn't believe that I could have gotten what I was looking for at a lower price point. My flower delivery the day of was timely, professional, and once again, totally seamless. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous, and many of my guests commented about how beautiful they were. One of my bridesmaids works in the wedding industry and was totally blown away by how gorgeous they were. They were also so fresh and all of my arrangements that were in floral sponges were still in perfect condition two days later so I was able to pull them off and preserve them.

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Holy moly!! Working with Brittany at The Faux Bouquets was a breeze, and our flowers looked remarkable -- and real! Nobody even believed me that the flowers were silk because they looked so legit. I would highly recommend her for any future events. And the best part is that we were able to repurpose the flowers seamlessly from ceremony to reception!

Jen was absolutely wonderful to work with! She took my idea of Harry Potter inspired bouquets and made it a reality. Throughout the process, she kept me updated and checked in on any suggested changes to make sure I was happy. I was absolutely stunned by the results and my bridesmaids loved their bouquets, which I gave to them as a gift after the wedding. Gilly's Lilies LLC
Rating: 5.0 (18 reviews)
·Ratings include Zola and Google reviews
  • Starts at $500
  • Serves Sugarloaf, PA

Sarah immigrated from rural North-West UK, where her family operated several successful flower shops. She moved to Central PA in 2017 with her husband, Ben, who teaches Mechanical Engineering at Bucknell University. After establishing her business stateside, Gilly’s Lilies truly took off during the pandemic. Relocating from her home studio to Mifflinburg allowed for significant growth, including the expansion into larger-scale operations like Helix Hall, which now hosts Afternoon Teas and special events.

I had a great experience with Gilly's Lilies. It is a locally-owned floral shop that offered creative and unique floral arrangements. The staff was very accommodating and helped to merge my vision with actual, fresh flowers. Highly recommended!

The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!

Perfect Stems Floral and Gift Shop
Rating: 5.0 (10 reviews)
  • Serves Sugarloaf, PA

Women-owned and operated, Perfect Stems is the sister company of Perfection Bridal. With 9 years wedding experience and 5 years in the flower world, Perfect Stems is ready to take your floral vision to another level! We specialize in full floral install, from hanging greenery to hanging arrangements.

Booking Leah at Perfect Stems was genuinely one of the BEST decisions we made for our wedding. We were referred to her by her twin sister Liz who was our wedding planner (Perfection Bridal)— and that alone already made us feel so confident. Finding out that Leah is also a wedding planner herself made us feel beyond taken care of. It truly felt like we had TWO planners looking out for us, and that level of care and coordination is something I'm forever grateful we had. I went into the floral process not fully knowing how to describe what I wanted, but Leah took my scattered ideas and turned them into something more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. Her knowledge of florals and design is unmatched — she truly knows her craft inside and out. What meant the most to us was how genuinely passionate Leah was about our wedding. We always felt like her #1 priority. She cared about every little detail and treated our day like it was just as important to her as it was to us. We got married young (22 and 23) and we didn’t have a big budget for florals, but Leah worked with us so graciously. She was affordable, transparent, and incredibly creative in helping us maximize what we could do within our budget. She never made us feel small for our numbers — instead, she made us feel celebrated and supported. And the FLOWERS. Oh my gosh. We received SO many compliments on our florals throughout the entire wedding day. They were stunning, elegant, and truly felt like a dream come to life. My bouquet was better than any inspo I've ever seen on Pinterest. If you’re considering booking Perfect Stems - DO IT! Leah is talented, kind, professional, and so passionate about what she does. We would choose her again and again a thousand times. Thank you Leah!!!

Zombie Flowers

After the global zombie apocalypse, in the early winter of '24, I heeded the call, picked up my shovel and shotgun and headed out to the fields. Protecting this wide world from the pestilence that is the zombie flower is no small feat, but I've learned to survive. I've made it my mission to hunt these jokers down, wrangle them together, and to serve to you dead off the proverbial platter. In these post-apocalyptic times, the zombie flowers make for excellent mantle trophies, but some have said they make awesome wedding bouquets. Whatever your cup of tea, these zombie flowers are one of a kind prepared just for you.

I had the most beautiful bouquet for my City Hall civil ceremony, but no firm plans for the bouquet post-wedding. My florist friend shared Jackie's contact information with me and I contacted her to see if she had the capacity for a last-minute bouquet preservation. Luckily, she had availability and a few hours later, I was taking an impromptu day trip to Cold Spring with my husband. Jackie met us at the station and was so incredibly kind. She gave us a few suggestions of eateries to check out while we were in town. We had a symbolic ceremony a week later and I was so pleased with the service received with my first bouquet, that I asked Jackie to preserve that bouquet as well. Throughout both bouquet preservations, Jackie was very responsive and answered any questions I had. She shared a layout of both bouquets prior to framing and packaged up both frames nicely, with bags, (this is a big deal when you're taking the train) when we returned to Cold Spring for pickup. I'd highly recommend her services to preserve a piece of your special day.

Flowers & Friends

My passion for flowers and plants started when I was a child. Growing up in the middle of nowhere was the best thing to allow my imagination to flourish. The school day would end and I would be rushing off the bus to help my grandparents plant seedlings or pick the harvest from the garden. My parents had flower beds and brought the beautiful flowers inside to enjoy as well. I am passionate about being able to replicate flower gardens into a gorgeous design but also creating a unique design just for your day!

Flowers and Friends is hands down the best florist. Melissa is extremely friendly, patient, and kind. She worked with me to plan out all of the details for my wedding day, answered all my questions about what different types of flowers would look like, and even helped me to pick out coordinating linen colors. She has such a natural talent for floral arrangements and everything she creates is absolutely gorgeous. My wedding flowers were perfect and more beautiful than I could have imagined. Melissa took my ideas and ran with them, creating unique and beautiful arrangements. She even thought of small details like drying the stems of our bouquets and providing extra vases to display the bouquets at the reception. If you want a florist who does amazing work and is amazing to work with, Flowers and Friends is the one!

Lovesome Farm is a queer-owned and operated flower farm and design studio nestled in the hills of Sullivan County. We grow sustainable, pollinator-friendly blooms, on our 8-acre property and design bespoke wedding florals.

Working with Lovesome Farm was a joy from start to finish. The vision I had for our wedding florals was definitely a tall order. We wanted a meadow of wild flowers tall and lush surrounding us and Lovesome met and exceeded our expectations! Between the floor installation and the table arrangements it felt both naturalistic and also out of this world! It was a true floral dream come true. Working with Madeleine was also a breeze - she had great suggestions and kept it easy for us to digest all the information at the same time. Whether you have a strong vision like we did or need guidance on creating the design of your dreams I would without a doubt recommend Lovesome Farm!

Blossom Bliss
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
  • Starts at $5,000
  • Serves Sugarloaf, PA

Located in York, PA, Blossom Bliss is a homegrown floral design company run by Kristen Adams. Specializing in unique floral installations + wedding day florals, Kristen and her team bring artistry and a fresh, organic style to your special events.

Kristen and the entire team at Blossom Bliss are incredible. Even from the very first intro call, Kristen's expertise, passion and kindness were apparent – and that remained true throughout the entire wedding planning process. She was responsive and worked closely with us to make sure our proposal was exactly what we wanted it to be. But most importantly, the way Kristen and her team brought our vision to life on our wedding day left us absolutely speechless (literally had no words when we first saw the reception space). The arrangements that she created were stunning, BEYOND anything that we even envisioned. Her work really pulled the entire event together, and so many guests commented on the incredible tablescapes as well. Also, I love that Blossom Bliss donates all remaining flowers (I believe they go to nursing homes and/or local hospitals if I'm remembering correctly). Knowing that the flowers were going to put a smile on someone else's face, rather than get thrown away after the wedding, brought a lot of joy. I highly, highly, highly recommend hiring Blossom Bliss for your event. You will not be disappointed!
