Foxgloves & Folly

Studio City, CA

We are a full-service boutique floristry studio and love to design flowers for all types of weddings – no matter how big or small! Our overarching style is very natural, loose, free-flowing, asymmetrical and lush with an emphasis on greenery and textures – we would describe it as a ‘refined wildness’! We place the utmost importance on using seasonal and locally sourced materials, and sustainable methods of designing, wherever possible.

Kate has such beautiful flower arrangements and is very clever in putting various flowers and foliage together to create unique pieces. I love that her arrangements have a “wild” look to them, it’s what makes them so interesting to look at, even more so to photograph. I found Kate through a close friend of mine in London, which was perfect, being British, I wanted a British touch to our London to California Wedding. My Husband and I got married in April 2019. Our Cocktail Hour and Reception Dinner was in Redondo Beach at Shade Hotel and our Ceremony was held at a Church in Long Beach. Kate accommodated and welcomed our own visions and helped us make our imagination possible. We had so many compliments, the ceremony flowers, the bouquets and boutonnières, the reception decor and even cake flowers which added a simple yet elegant finish. From the beginning planning to the Wedding day, we couldn’t of had our experience any other way. We would highly recommend Kate, she is wonderful, passionate in her field, as well as calm and confident in delivering her work. Thank you Kate for everything! We couldn’t have been more proud of what you did to make our day so special.

Something's Blooming was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding florals. Michelle is the best! She’s a quick responder and our communication was easy and seamless. As someone who is very into plants and flowers, the florals were the most important design part of our day for me. Michelle took my millions of ideas (aka my hectiness) and turned them into a truly artful, creative, and cohesive vision. She does absolutely beautiful work. Even the groomsmen commented on how cool their boutonnières were! Michelle was a joy to work with and we are so lucky she was a part of our day - she truly made my floral dreams come true!

Akiko was truly a dream come true! We had a destination wedding which was hard to book vendors without meeting with them due to covid. I had no worries when I found her! Even though we didnt get to meet in person until my wedding I felt like I met her already since she was so quick to respond to me emails. She made my wedding vision come all together. Not only did she pick the most stunning flowers but she is also so very sweet to work with. Akiko was very informative about what flowers were available and had the perfect substitutes and suggestions. She even gave me ideas that I didn't even think of doing! She also stayed longer to make sure all my flowers were perfect and that I didnt need anything else. I cannot thank her enough for everything!

Thank you so much for checking out Kukka flowers! We are a primarily online business that specializes in "Do it Yourself" flowers. Additionally full service is available in the southern California region- just let us know when you reach out you are looking for full service quote. Kukka offers pre-designed DIY floral packages for a fraction of the cost. Simply select from our collections and we ship all the flowers you need to the location of your choice 2-3 days before your wedding. You receive a detailed breakdown of how to assemble all arrangements!

I used Kukka flowers for my August wedding. During the ordering process Rae was amazing! She took inspiration pictures that I had and curated a custom set of flowers to match the ideas, but using flowers that are available in August. When I wanted different flowers from the first suggested curation, she quickly and happily made changes that matched the inspiration and took my budget into consideration. I highly recommend purchasing the wedding flower kit as well. We did not need to purchase anything extra to create all of our arrangements. It took me and my husband about 5 hours to create 8 bouquets, 10 boutonnieres, and 20 bud vases, so be prepared for some work.

Welcome. Floral designs, one petal at a time. I have been in business for 1.5 years, I've always had a love for flowers and did it on the side as a hobby. After the pandemic, I was inspired to take a leap of faith to see where it could lead me. The style that best describe me are Romantic, Ethereal, Modern, and Whimsical. What really excites me the most about weddings is seeing the clients' reactions after they see my work, which is always priceless to me.

    Eveni Floral Design

    5.0

    • Starts at $5,000
    • Serves Studio City, CA

Hi, I’m Zoey. I founded Eveni based on my love for all beautiful things. I seek to design the perfectly imperfect, creating unusual yet subtle designs that reflect nature with an undiscovered beauty that is effortless and refined. It is the marriage of these two cultures which gives the work such meaning, combining beauty with balance. I love the way floristry allows me to unleash my inner artist. Putting together displays of seasonal colour and texture is at once fiercely creative and immeasurably soothing, and being able to create wedding flowers that play a part in people’s happiest memories makes it all the more rewarding.

    Awarded Best of Zola
We chose Eveni Floral Design as our wedding florists, and it may have very well been one of the best decisions we ever made to work with Zoey and Carrie. From the get go, we had a very specific design in mind that was difficult to describe. We wanted something colorful and cheery, natural and whimsical, yet elegant, refined, and tasteful. We also didn’t want just a boring classic rose-based design either, but weren’t looking to be wildly experimental. We interviewed numerous florists and provided them all with our color palette and some inspiration pictures, and while several were great, Zoey and Carrie really nailed the concept we were looking for right away. They proposed beautiful arrangements that were even more stunning during the mock-up, and were able to work with us to repurpose flowers from the ceremony for the reception. Any communication we had with them was prompt, professional, and easy to work with. They always were willing to make adjustments as we went along, and even accommodated other requests, such as making a dog collar for our dog to wear in the ceremony! And when it came to the wedding day, Zoey and Carrie absolutely blew us and our guests away. Not only were they right on time, quick in the set up, and during the transition of repurposing, the flowers themselves were PERFECT. They were all fresh, perfectly open, wonderfully vibrant, and artistically arranged. The colors of the flowers were vibrant, and their creativity in choices allowed for such a fun mix! Just looking at our bouquets brought an instant smile, they were just so cute, elegant, and playful, just like the vibe we hoped our wedding to have. And when we say our guests were absolutely floored by how absolutely lush and luxurious the florals were, we mean it. Every piece, from arch, bud vases, centerpieces, and floor arrangements had texture, height, whimsy, dimension, and color. They were neither too greenery heavy or overly stuffed with flowers. We had been to several weddings , and so had our guests (or had even gotten married themselves), and we received numerous compliments about how stunning our arch, bud vases, table set ups, and high / low centerpieces were compared to other weddings. By the end of the night, all the florals were taken by our guests! And while we had 10 tables, a full arch, innumerable bud vases and candles, and over 8 aisle pieces, Eveni Floral Design had some of the most fair/competitive pricing of all the florists in the SoCal area. We would HIGHLY recommend Eveni Floral Design for any event, big or small— they are so immensely talented, humble, and kind. We cannot thank them enough for making our wedding cohesive, beautiful, and absolutely us.

    Blooma Daga

    5.0

    • Starts at $5,000
    • Serves Studio City, CA

Blooma Daga is a botanical design house providing floral design services for those that live and love boldly. Our inspiration comes from the rugged beauty of the natural world. From the big, small, and everything in between… …and how it juxtaposes with the imaginative worlds of Wes Anderson, Florence Welch, Gucci, Iris Apfel, Bob Mackie, Kacey Musgraves, and oh so much more. Last but not least – Our clients, we want to hear your story!

    Awarded Best of Zola
Tim at Blooma Daga was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding ground arch/sweetheart table flowers. First of all, Tim was the only florist I could find who was open to just doing our arch arrangement. Due to budget constraints, I knew that I was going to DIY our bouquets and centerpieces. However, our arch was a big piece that I didn’t feel confident creating myself. To my dismay, every other florist either had minimums way above my budget or had exclusivity that made it difficult to DIY the rest of the florals. Tim saved the day by agreeing to build us our dream ground arch but allowing us to DIY the rest of the flowers. Tim was so patient, professional and kind as we planned out the vision for our big day over many emails and meetings. He always responded clearly and quickly to any questions we had. The end result was jaw-droppingly gorgeous and an amazing value - the arch he created was beyond my wildest dreams! Tim took our vision and executed it beautifully and flawlessly. His friendly yet focused demeanor put us at ease through the entire process. I cannot recommend Blooma Daga highly enough for any bride looking to bring her floral dreams to life!

Gabrielle's work was lovely. She was very good at understanding the style I had in mind for my flowers, which was relatively minimal but fresh. On top of that, the LA wildfires hit our venue 10 days before my event and we had to find an entirely new venue with an entirely new look. Gabrielle was able to adjust the new design to fit the new location. Looking back at my wedding photos, the florals bring a smile to my face.

Meg provided the flowers for our wedding last month and they were absolute stunners. From the very beginning, Meg was receptive and delightful to work with. We wanted vibrant colors, and arrangements that evoked still life art pieces. For our arch we wanted something that was bright, not overly manicured, and abundant with flowers. Above all, we wanted floral arrangements that complimented/enhanced the beauty of our wedding venue. We had a consultation session where we shared general ideas and descriptions of our vision for the wedding, along with any pinterest pictures we had saved. In her proposal Meg captured a lot of our vision and provided us a comprehensive cost breakdown for each item that we wanted. We were also able to visit her studio to take a look at vases, candles, and other items to accompany our arrangements. We also scheduled a mock-up consultation to get an idea of what the centerpiece arrangements would look like. When I saw the mock centerpiece for the first time, I was floored. She perfectly captured the vision and it truly looked like a piece of art. I distinctly remember her asking if I had any feedback of things I liked, disliked, or would like to change, and I told her that it was perfect as is. For the day of the wedding, all of the flowers were a dream come true and she perfectly captured what we wanted. I could not help but stare at the arch throughout parts of my own ceremony because it was so mesmerizing and beautiful! As for my and my spouse's bouquets, we were in love with how they complimented one another and also captured the full, vibrant color scheme we sought in our florals. So many of our guests were also enamored with the arch and the centerpieces - in fact, most, if not all, of the centerpieces were taken home by our guests. I wish I was able to take a centerpiece home but given that we were flying out for our honeymoon, it meant the world to know that the flowers were so well loved and appreciated by our guests. Throughout this entire experience Meg was super helpful, honest, insightful, and kind. We feel so lucky to have worked with her. She really made our wedding such a beautiful experience (literally and figuratively)!

I had the pleasure of working with Rebel Creative for two weddings this year, first for a Nikki and Ryan's desert wedding on May 31 at Morada in Joshua Tree, and later for Laura and Michael’s garden party wedding on September 27th at Shady Canyon Golf Club. Christina Pack discovered her love for flowers in 2002, while working in the floral department. Over the years, she has had other jobs, including working as a Business Development Manager for a large construction company, but realized in 2014 that her passion to work with flowers was too strong to ignore, so she created Wild at Heart Florist. From the initial planning stage to the big day — we can create all the florals imaginable to make your wedding one to remember! Make your day glow with our assortment of floral options!

Working with Wild at Heart Florist was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Christina was prompt in her responses and very personable, which put me at ease throughout the entire process. She is incredibly knowledgeable, creative, and collaborative, and truly took the time to understand my vision for the flowers. I gave Christina some color swatches as an easy way to convey the color scheme, and described my vision for the flowers, but everything else was left in her creative hands. The end result was beyond my expectations - the bouquets, and ceremony flowers were exactly what I had in mind, featuring the specific flowers I requested (natural navy flowers are not particularly common but I wanted a little bit of that color to tie in with the groomsmen's suits). She was also able to include my great grandmother's brooch as my something borrowed. The ceremony flowers were the right size and didn't block the natural beauty of the mountain backdrop, and I was able to repurpose the flowers from the ceremony to use for the decor of our sweetheart table. I cannot recommend Wild at Heart Florist highly enough for their exceptional service and stunning floral designs that made our special day even more beautiful!

HNY Blzm, LLC was founded in 2019, as a part-time way for me to express my love for design and flowers. I took a break from florals and building my business during the 2020 pandemic, and soon realized that I could not live without it in my life. I believe that flowers are more than just pretty decorations and have true benefits to ones mental, emotional, & overall wellbeing. I absolutely love designing custom arrangements for my clients. Every arrangement I make is personal to me and I want it to mean just as much to my clients. I hope to get the opportunity to work with you!

Farryn delivered both beautiful flowers and worked with the balloon artist with cascading florals- her eye for beauty and color was AMAZING !!

From a background in the film and television industry to currently working in the wedding industry, I've brought my love of visual style and flowers together. My favorite aspect of working on weddings is working with the couple to figure out the style that speaks to them. From sleek and modern, to romantic and lush I can make it happen.

I think flowers are the most important part of the aesthetic for any event- they quite literally bring LIFE to the experience, along with color and softness and movement. I found the perfect person for the job in Jackie and I would fully recommend her to anyone who wants their florals to be artistic and professional! Jackie nailed down the specifics of my color palette when I said I wanted “warm citrus tones.” She totally understood the loose vibe that I was looking for, and confirmed that when she sent me mood boards and specifications ahead of time. She worked within my budget, waking up early to get flowers from the LA Flower Market. She even found a way to incorporate my friends by hosting a flower garland making party! She was the vendor I didn’t have to worry about- I completely trusted she would be where she needed to be, she would understand my vision, and she would make sure things ran seamlessly. She is cool as a cucumber under pressure and her arrangements have character. I am going to use Jackie for all of my events going forward!

    The Black Rose

    • Starts at $4,000
    • Serves Studio City, CA

The Black Rose has been flowering all over greater Los Angeles for the past 12 years, enjoying success with events, parties, pop-ups and weddings. Our style is elevated with a touch of whimsy, imaginative and always inspired by the inherent beauty of nature and botany.

Working with Black Rose was one of the very best decisions we made for our wedding. From our very first conversation, Rachel listened to my vision and somehow brought it to life even more beautifully than I could have imagined. Every detail — from the bridal bouquet to the staircase accents and reception tables — was thoughtful, artful, and perfectly cohesive. The flowers were undeniably breathtaking, with every detail—from the containers to the candles—adding a touch of elegance to each visual element. If you are looking for someone who can create wow moments and turn your ideas into something magical, look no further. I cannot recommend Black Rose Floral highly enough.

We're a modern floral design studio specializing in out-of-the-box design ideas that go beyond traditional. Our goal is to WOW you from the first phone call to the end of your event and we pride ourselves in creating sustainable art.

We NEVER thought "florals" were going to be as high up on the budget. However, Drew sent us a proposal that was so hard to pass up - we shifted funds around because we knew her way of thinking was going to give us the wedding of the century. A unique blend of "modern, earthy, ethereal" florals and drapery that had my mouth TO THE FLOOR when I saw it in person on the big day. Drew and her team are more than just event florists...they're geniuses! They completely shifted the way we thought about flowers and how to incorporate them on our wedding day. Will forever cherish the brainstorming sessions, patience as we made decisions, emotional design reveals, and SoHo cocktails. I WANT TO DO IT AGAIN! If you just want a florist to come in and add centerpieces, find someone else. BUT - if you want a creative mastermind that will take your wedding to the next level, go with Rogue & Fox. You won't find anyone or anything better. xo
