I have been baking most of my life and began decorating in 1997. I made my first wedding cake in 2009. I opened Artful Cakery by Julie in 2013. I have also been a bakery manager at a major grocery chain in the southeast. I enjoy designing and decorating many types of cakes and desserts for weddings and other special occasions.

It all started in 2015 when our founder, Joe Nedza, waited in line in New York City for something similar to a Nedza's Waffle for over 2 hours. He finally got to the front and the store had just sold out. However, Joe left with an idea. Why couldn't we bring waffles here to the Classic City and put our own spin on things? So, with an idea and a drive to succeed, Joe built the company from the ground up. He set out not only to create a delicious waffle dessert, but to create a better business built around warmth, love, and kindness. Sugar Hill Cakes LLC is a wedding cake designer based in Sugar Hill, Georgia. It has been part of the wedding industry for more than five years, specializing in custom wedding cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and other pastries. Vilma, the baker, began baking at a young age and documented her first cake when she was 10 years old.
