Hi! I’m Chef Lauralie, and I believe every celebration deserves food that feels warm and meaningful. I’m not a traditional caterer — I offer personal chef services for couples who want an intimate, handcrafted experience for their wedding, engagement dinner, or special brunch. Inspired by my Congolese roots, I became a personal Chef to create beautiful, nourishing menus that bring people together and make your day feel stress-free, delicious, and uniquely you.

As a boutique caterer based in Marine, IL, serving the St. Louis Metro East area, The Food Dude Catering brings over 30 years of family-owned expertise in creating unforgettable events through flexible menus tailored to weddings, corporate gatherings, and celebrations. We pride ourselves on fresh, thoughtfully crafted offerings—from our signature salad and creamy pastas to appetizers and cultural dishes—delivered with prompt, dependable service that accommodates any group size or dietary needs.

Founder and owner, Ravi Jayara is a man with a strong passion for events and hospitality. We pride ourselves at Chic Chef Catering for building life-long relationships with all of our clients. Any catering company can provide food and staff, but it takes a dedicated team of individuals to make your event memorable, ensuring the utmost client fulfillment. Our guarantee to our clients is to always go above and beyond in whichever ways we can to make all events deliciously special for you.

I am 27 years Old. I started “To Go For Your Soul” in 2020. I am passionate about cooking and have been cooking for 12 years now. I see food as art you can eat and it is a daily activity that is a necessity for us to live so why not make it as enjoyable as possible. Food for many of us is Community, Gathering, Celebration, & Relief. It is a very important part of any occasion especially in the world of weddings. In reality amongst all other tasks, it can be very stressful to plan an event and focus of feeding you and your guests.
