The Hive is a beautiful event center located in Staley, NC. We are situated on 200 acres of rolling farm land in Randolph county NC. Our facility began life as the clubhouse for Ferguson Farms Golf Course. When the golf course closed in 2012, it sat abandoned until our family came across the land. We came across this gem while we were searching for a larger property to expand our farm. It had been neglected for so many years, but we immediately saw great potential in its natural beauty, barns, and clubhouse. The streams, ponds, and woodlands teamed with wildlife and we just knew this farm had to been revived into something new, a place where joy, laughter and unity would be experienced.

Ardenwood Farm is a horse farm and wedding destination located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Nestled in rolling hills with views of verdant forests and landscaping, this scenic and romantic location features a variety of picturesque event spaces that include the horse barn, covered arena and old oak tree. This working horse farm and private property offers a variety of indoor, covered and outdoor event spaces for weddings and receptions. Wedding ceremonies can be held in the the courtyard of the horse barn, under the old oak tree, or in the covered arena. Receptions can be held in the indoor banquet hall and large covered wedding pavilion arena with an outdoor patio and pergola with the backdrop of a 47 acre horse farm with rolling pasture land and forests. The beautiful main horse barn provides the perfect location for intimate wedding events such as bridal showers and rehearsal dinners, as well as a groom’s lounge and bridal suite perfect for day of preparations.

After your ceremony, you and your guests can enjoy a cocktail outside the barn while romantic string lights twinkle overhead. You and your guests can make your way into the beautiful barn to dine and dance the night away. This space features a dance floor and plenty of room for tables and chairs.

The venue can seat around 200 guests comfortably. The main space is a dream with beautiful white shiplap walls, gorgeous stained plank cathedral ceiling and lots of natural light. The main space is heated and cooled so you can be comfortable in any season. There is a covered porch that leads to a large flagstone patio with a white fireplace, this is a great space for rehearsal dinners or just an extension of the reception space. The bridal suite is in a separate building adjacent to the venue. Recently built in 2023, with nearly 800 sq feet you and your wedding party will have a comfortable space to enjoy the day. Finally, there is an open air chapel that can seat 200 guests comfortably. It has beautiful cathedral style windows in the front and back of the chapel and open arches on the sides. This chapel will make a great rain back up option for your wedding day or if you love it as much as we do, it can be a beautiful plan A option as well.

Sugarneck is rumored to have gotten its name by the bootleggers traveling along the Cape Fear River as a code word for the place where they would pick up their moonshine. Sugarneck reaches back long before smartphones and social media, back to a time when the only way to send a message was by writing a letter and sending it in the mail. One of the earliest U.S. Post Offices in North Carolina still stands strong today. It was a community where people gathered, shared news and good times. Built in 1874, the renovated original Cabin structure serves as a unique visual reminder of those simpler times. The Cabin and the Post Office are on the National Register of Historic Places. The vast scenic views of the North Carolina countryside along with the grandness of our 150 year old Oak trees do not go unnoticed, and at night, the stars light up the sky. Today, there is an unexpected immersive experience that brings history, nature and modern elegance together in total privacy.

Cadillac Service Garage is located in the heart of downtown Greensboro. As we renovated this historic 1921 Cadillac Dealership, we respected its character and kept the exposed brick walls, original black & white marble Showroom floor and lofty 30' ceilings with skylights. We added only "real" materials like concrete, brick, steel, reclaimed wood and glass in bringing the old building back to life as a wedding venue. The result is a truly unique, handcrafted, industrial urban-renewal work of art!
