The Pearl, a mid-1800’s style barn, is modeled after a barn on the family farm. Constructed with rough-sawn oak timbers and wooden pegs, it boasts a 30-foot vaulted ceiling and wrap-around loft lighted with iron chandeliers. The timber staircase offers a grand entry for the bride’s debut into the main hall while providing a beautiful backdrop for photos. The Pearl is located on a ridge approximately one mile south of Hamilton on Highway 13, overlooking Tom Creek valley. It is a beautiful sight to behold at sundown any time of the year. Art Church Weddings is located in a 1873 de-sanctified Church in Malvern, IA. and is a permanent gallery to oil painter Zack Jones. Lilac Hill is a family owned 80 acre property in Louisville, NE, about 25 minutes from Omaha and 45 minutes from Lincoln. The original founders of Lilac Hill, Don and Bev Maxon, bought this old run down property in the 80's and set out to create their own arboretum. There are dozens of old growth trees, hundreds of blue spruce, and thousands of flowering shrubs and plants, which provide beautiful color and depth everywhere you go. The space combines elements of BoHo, Rustic, Elegant, and Industrial in a romantic natural landscape. So many of our guests comment that they don't feel like they're in Nebraska anymore! The property is enclosed by trees, providing a feeling of seclusion and exclusivity where your guests can hang out under our 100' tall cottonwood trees and smell the lilac scented breezes. In 1972, 70-year-old Ben Vanderhook tore down old barns in Mahaska County and surrounding counties to create our beautiful barn, located a stone’s throw south of Oskaloosa, Iowa. The 3½ acre property includes a 147×46×60 Quonset hut barn, open fields as well as mature shade trees. Debbie’s Celebration Barn is one of the most extraordinary and romantic settings for a Midwest wedding or special event. The event space in the barn is spacious with many options for originality to fit your occasion. Both east and west ends of The Barn feature large double French doors which add to the charm as well as aid in cross ventilation on warmer summer evenings.
