When we toured the venue, this location was so beautiful and checked off every box for us, but what really sold us was the staff and Kaylie, our wedding day coordinator, who were all so helpful in making our big day a reality. They have some amazing vendors that frequent and already have a great relationship with the zoo that made the day run with ease, and to top it all off have animals and a giraffe feeding during cocktail hour was a hit. So many of our guests made a point to mention how great of a time they had, some saying it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to. Thank you so much to the Columbus Zoo events crew for memories of a lifetime.

We absolutely loved having our wedding at Findlay Country Club in October '20. The venue was incredibly gorgeous (especially in the fall), the food was delicious, and there were so many beautiful places for pictures. Lindsay, helped us through our planning, gave us tons of ideas, and was so organized. She helped us out a LOT day-of with keeping things moving and on-track and going above and beyond her responsibilities. I can't thank her and the FCC staff for making our special day perfect - I wouldn't have changed anything!

I wish 5 stars wasn't the limit, I'd give 10 if I could! Our wedding at Forbidden Lake Farms was everything we dreamed of and more. The two of us with our families beside a serene lake, surrounded by nature’s beauty, the setting couldn’t have been more perfect. The evening air was calm, the sky glowing with soft golden hues, and the lake mirrored it all—creating a breathtaking backdrop for our ceremony and celebration which was planned relatively quickly! One of the biggest highlights was the bridal house, an on-site Airbnb that absolutely blew us away. It was not only stunning but also incredibly comfortable and thoughtfully prepared. Getting ready there felt like a luxury experience, and it added a personal, cozy touch to the whole day. We can’t speak highly enough of the staff at Forbidden Lake Farms. Every single person went above and beyond (including the owners) to make sure the day ran smoothly. They were attentive, kind, and genuinely invested in making sure we had the best experience possible. The venue itself is a hidden gem with beautiful wildflowers (that we picked for our wedding), and grounds that were meticulously maintained. We were lucky to find it early and save money by booking a 2025 date, which made the experience even sweeter. It’s clear this is a place where unforgettable memories are made. If you're considering a wedding surrounded water, we highly recommend Forbidden Lake Farms. It was the perfect place to begin our forever.
