We moved from Peachtree City, Georgia to this breathtaking countryside estate in Newnan, Georgia in July 2016 with the sole intent of opening a wedding and special events venue. When we found this little gem, we realized we wanted to share the beautiful property with others and help our guests create unforgettable memories for their friends and family at Murphy Lane. Our guests become much more than clients, they become lifelong friends and together we seek to create a wondrous experience for each and every guest at Murphy Lane. The Muse Family: Muse Farm in Bremen, Georgia was established in 1953 by Mr. and Mrs. Beunah Muse. The Farm remains in the family today and serves as one of West Georgia’s premier event venues. Jared, Amy, and Brayden Muse are the current proprietors of the 80 acre Farm that includes a Chapel and spacious bridal suite. The venue, though only a few short miles from the city of Bremen, is surrounded by spectacular views and nature, making for a breathtaking backdrop for magical ceremonies and memorable celebrations. The Muse's attention to detail, personal contribution to flawless event execution, and dedication to their patrons are the hallmarks of the Farm's customer service, keeping the venue busy with events year round.

This magnificent Georgian-style home was built in 1914 for Cornelius Vanderbilt Truitt, a financier, and businessperson, by P. Thornton Marye, whose most famous project was the design of The Fabulous Fox Theatre in Atlanta. In 1937, the house was purchased by Nasour and Mary Mansour, the first generation of dry goods merchants known regionally for their Mansour’s Department Stores, first in LaGrange and then in other major cities in the region. The Truitt Vanderbilt Club has an incredible array of unique and experiential rooms, nooks, porches, crannies, lawns, and one-of-kind spots to make your special event very special. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this 1906 Greek Revival mansion was originally the Holberg Hotel. The Garage is our barrel-aging and souring brewery in the heart of the historic West End of Atlanta. Our taproom features a ton of tasty small batch sours and barrel-aged beers in an expansive, eclectic space. Part of the Lee + White development along Atlanta’s BeltLine trail, the Garage houses 3 separate barrel aging rooms, a coolship, and an onsite orchard and garden. The Garage also features artisanal handcrafted pizzas that are baked in an Italian-built oven at over 900 degrees Fahrenheit. The crust uses a yeast culture that is a special sourdough blend containing wild yeast strains captured in the Garage’s coolship. The Garage also boasts an expansive private events space, available for weddings, corporate functions, and other gatherings.

1910. That’s when this studio was built. That’s more than 100 years ago. Before the Titanic. Before World War I. Of course, when they built it they didn’t know it was a studio. They thought they’d built a factory for transforming raw cotton into fire-retardant fabrics. And they did just that for about 84 years. Next came a few years of hand-wringing and a few more of neglect and abandonment. In 2007, they finally turned it over to Jason Ivany. He set it back on track and transformed it into the daylight studio it was always meant to be just before the 100 year mark.

Terminal West lies within the King Plow Arts Center in West Midtown Atlanta. The arts center originally started out as a plow factory but was converted into studios in the 1990’s. Terminal West once was an iron smelting room and has been transformed into a music venue with modern production while maintaining the original factory aesthetics. Terminal West opened its doors in March of 2012 and is now a concert venue/event space.

Our venue was originally built in 1942, and used as munitions storage during World War 2. After that, it was repurposed for different industrial uses until the 1990s, when we moved in and set up our antique shop. Thirty years later, the area has changed incredibly and we no longer work in antiques!
