“TL;DR: We cannot recommend Log River Ranch enough! Karlee, Austin, and the entire team went above and beyond to make our DIY, budget-conscious wedding absolutely magical. From planning everything remotely to the incredible day-of service, accessibility, and beautiful river setting, everything was seamless. Our guests raved about the venue and service, and we felt genuinely cared for every step of the way. We got married at Log River Ranch in mid-August 2026, and we truly could not have asked for a better experience. We planned our entire wedding from California, with most of our family coming from Colorado and New Mexico, and didn’t even see the venue in person until the day before our wedding (our own choice btw). Despite that, we felt completely supported and cared for throughout the entire process. We had a relatively small wedding of about 60 guests and wanted a venue that would embrace our DIY approach. We were working with a strict budget, and I wanted to have a hand in every detail, from providing our own alcohol and desserts to creating our own florals and supplying our own sound equipment. The team at LRR was incredibly accommodating and the space was perfectly set up thought out the event for the needs of getting ready, setting up, and the flow of entrance and celebrations. The space was perfect for our guest count, we had much more space than we needed but I really enjoyed having ample dancing space for our reception. Accessibility and practical amenities were especially important to us. Electrical hookups, ramps, accessible bathrooms, and ample parking made the venue comfortable and convenient for our elderly family members. The bathrooms were spotless and genuinely comfortable throughout the event. The service on our wedding day was outstanding. The staff struck an incredible balance between being attentive and unobtrusive. They were there exactly when you needed help, whether that meant clearing a plate or assisting a guest, but they also knew when to step back and let us enjoy the moment, especially during important moments and personal photos. Our guests repeatedly commented on how wonderful the service was and how well cared for everyone felt. The bar service was another highlight! We supplied all the ingredients and recipes for our cocktails, and the bartender executed everything perfectly. We hired Fusion Tacos for catering, and they were excellent as well. We booked the venue from noon until midnight, which ended up being the perfect amount of time. It was also a priority for us that we didn’t want to feel rushed on such a beautiful day, that often goes by too quickly anyway! Most of our guests had departed by 11:30, leaving my husband and me a quiet moment together to take in the beautiful river before we left. That final moment was incredibly special and a wonderful way to close out the day. Ultimately, we felt so cared for by the entire team. Log River Ranch gave us the flexibility to create a wedding that felt completely like us while providing the organization, hospitality, and professionalism that made everything run smoothly. Karlee and Austin were phenomenal, the staff was exceptional, and the setting was absolutely magical. We would wholeheartedly recommend Log River Ranch to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with a genuinely supportive team, especially couples who want a more personal, hands-on, DIY wedding. We are so grateful we chose LRR for one of the most meaningful days of our lives!”
