First, Kate listens to what you want. My husband and I really wanted a lot of candid photos of us and our guests. We had an intimate wedding with our closest friends and family so it was important to us that she captured them in the moment! Mission accomplished and more.
Second, Kate is so talented and also just a fun human to be around. There’s no awkwardness or that “is this a good pose? Am I doing what I’m supposed to?” feeling because she makes you feel so comfortable! It was like she was just a part of the family and fit right in. She really was there at every moment - the rehearsal, up very early the next morning to go to the farmers market where I picked out my flowers, the ceremony, the dance, everything! Looking back, I’m extra thankful for her and the long day she put in because every moment was captured beautifully and exceeded my expectations. It even rained during our ceremony and the way she captured us during it was magical!
I also can’t leave a review without mentioning the video she made! I was blown away by this. The video is so well done and thoughtful and really special to us as we got married during COVID and we had people who could not attend. This video allows them to see all of the intimate details of our wedding without actually being there.
We even hired her years later to do family photos with our doggo! She’s the best.
