I truly LOVE capturing love + beautiful moments in time- the funny, emotional, happy, candid and everything in between. Mom to 2 of the most loving + beautiful girls I have ever met. Wifey to the love of my life. When I am not documenting a love, I am wrapped up in my own love story, making memories w my loved ones. My favorite things in life in no particular order are butterflies, new age spirituality, romantic movies, yoga, star gazing, chocolate, the beach and laughing.

I'm a wedding and portrait photographer based out of Connecticut, but I will travel anywhere! When I'm not taking photos which is very unlikely, I'm either hanging at a coffee shop sipping on some chai, hiking, paddle boarding with my pup Minnie, strolling through a garden shop, or catching a sunset down at the beach and having a picnic. My name is Lauren McCarthy. My parents, photographers Wendy & Charlie McCarthy began Weefan Photography in 2001. At 11, I started watching them photograph events and weddings, and the first wedding I photographed, just as I remember my first day of school. For the past fourteen years, I have mastered each and every job related to the wedding photography business. After graduating from Siena college in 2019, I was invited by my parents to manage our family's business of professional photography, and assume the duties of managing our New York Office. ​
