It was an apt name because the intricately carved mushroom exemplified the skill, beauty, and taste that Peg brought to Pittsburgh’s culinary scene. Today, thousands of weddings, corporate events, and private parties later, son Lee Deiseroth and his staff will bring that enduring style and sophistication to your next special event. Our goal is to create a uniquely you catering experience, which requires an understanding of your or your family’s personality and tastes.

Our distillery is housed in a 1906 carriage house built of Pennsylvania hardwood and steel. In 2019, we won a Pennsylvania Historic Preservation award for its striking, natural charm and our attention to authentic detail. The barn was beautifully decorated (not to mention the amount of other decorations they already had on-site was a great way to save money), and the rolling hills made a stunning backdrop for our ceremony and pictures (especially the photo-bombing alpacas). They were so incredibly kind and wonderful to work with throughout the process. They made time to answer all of our questions and were incredibly accommodating by allowing us to take tours and re-visit as we started planning for our wedding. One of the biggest perks was having the venue for the entire weekend, which made setting up and enjoying our day that much easier. Everyone we've spoken to after the wedding have continued to say how beautiful the venue was and how it made for the absolute perfect wedding.
