Featuring the original brick walls, and large wooden beams, the 3,200 sq. ft. space will be the perfect backdrop to your next event. Over 4,000 sq ft of interior space, full of natural light and neutral finishes, ready for your special touch. Operational garage doors offer indoor/outdoor setup into our spacious courtyard. High-end sound systems help get the vibe just right. The adjoining courtyard (accessible via 4 operational garage doors) offers 2,340 sq ft of private outdoor space, featuring seating, fire pits, murals, and landscaping. The venue also includes a gorgeous bridal suite (with an en-suite bathroom) offers floor to ceiling windows, makeup stations, a dressing mirror, and cozy seating for your wedding party. Everything in the space is available to you and included in your rental, including fifteen 60 inch round tables, fifteen 8 foot tables, linens for all tables, and chairs. I started doing filmmaking in the music, commercial, and travel industry. I learned a lot; like how to compose amazing images with technical and artistic skills, and directing stories and actors to sell a product or evoke certain emotions. I've even been the cinematographer for a film that premiered in New York City. I was well paid and got to travel the world making these amazing films, but it was pretty empty. It could never compare to the feeling of fulfillment from being a wedding filmmaker. And being able to use my skills to enhance a couple's most important day of their life is something I love doing over and over.

I have loved flowers as early as I can remember. I was impacted by my grandmother’s love for nature as I planted tulip bulbs with her in the garden. After years of arranging flowers from the backyard and local markets, I combined my love of flowers with my interest in the business. From there, Carrie Rose Floral bloomed.

White Shanty Venue is an industrial-chic wedding venue located in Provo, Utah. This large and versatile venue with its rich history will make a memorable location for your wedding celebrations. It all began when Hal and Elaine Porter moved their family from the warm sunshine of Tucson, Arizona to be closer to family. They and their four daughters arrived in Utah on Christmas Eve in 1996. Elaine had grown up in Northern Utah and missed the beautiful mountains and seasons. To Elaine’s surprise, Hal had wanted to move to Utah years before, but the timing was not right. Both had spent time in Utah county and knew that this was going to be “home” to them. Hal, with his 47+ years of foodservice experience, and Elaine, with her 32+ years in the corporate world, began a new adventure and started a catering business in 2000.
