Our venue offers vast gardens for all times of year. There are thousands of gorgeous perennials and annuals to bring excitement to your big day. There are walking paths and cows grazing in the distant rolling hills. The sunflower fields bloom for about a month in the summer. The outdoor ceremony site offers garden all around and separate seating. The indoor reception space has base draping and lighting and includes tables/chairs/linens/ and decor. We have a huge selection of centerpieces and other useful decor included in every rental. Bonus: we also set up and take down whatever you pick from us! Almquist Farm is a fifth generation family farm homesteaded by Charles Almquist after he immigrated from Sweden in 1890. Our 75 acres of rolling hills and oak trees provide a spacious setting for a one location all day wedding celebration. Our heated and air-conditioned buildings give you the confidence of having a comfortable farm wedding regardless of the weather.

Forestville Winery and Event Center encompasses 17 acres of beauty and serenity. 2025 marks our seventh season hosting events and memories to guests from all over the world. Our Event building has undergone major renovation. The climate controlled space features spacious room for 150 guests in a “country elegant” décor. The building features a Bride’s suite with full bathroom and private patio. Also inside is a wine and beer service area, a catering kitchen, a food serving area, a stage for Musicians and spacious restrooms, Most Ceremonies are held outside near the Vineyard, weather permitting. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the Ceremonies can be held under our Event tent. The Forestville property is also home to a completely renovated one room School constructed in 1897 and used as a school until 1964. The School building houses our wine and beer tasting room and also the Groom’s Suite for weddings.

Goodtree Farmstead is an elegant and rustic Minnesota farm event and wedding venue in Northfield, just a short drive from the Twin Cities. Located in rural Northfield, we are a few minutes outside of the quaint downtown area, but also a 15 minute drive from Lakeville or 40 minute drive from downtown Minneapolis or Saint Paul.
