As soon as I met Amanda, I could see her passion for creating beautiful designs with local blooms, and bringing visions to life. I could tell off the bat that she cares deeply about the couples she works with, and her thorough questions made me confident that she would execute my vision perfectly. Amanda had clear communication throughout our time working together and was quick to answer emails whenever I had a question. One thing I also loved was her invoicing system- she sent over one link to the invoice which would automatically update whenever we made changes. It’s a small detail, but it was incredibly helpful to know that I was always looking at the most updated version of our invoice (not digging through my emails and searching through multiple attachments) to keep track of costs. On the day, I nearly cried when I saw my bouquet it was so beautiful. Due to the weather, there was some back and forth figuring out where our ceremony would be held. Amanda worked with our coordinator and venue staff and came up with great solutions to repurpose the flowers for the outdoor ceremony site. I really appreciated her flexibility and ability to think on her feet to make the indoor space feel just as magical. Her work really elevated the room and gave the exact vibe that I was hoping for. So many of our guests raved and said they’d never seen flowers like ours at a wedding. I cannot recommend enough working with Amanda for your wedding. She really puts her heart and soul into her work, and feels like a friend through the planning process. If I had to do it again I’d choose her every time!!”

As part of the planning process, we sought out a preservation artist who could freeze this element of our wedding forever in time. I found Jackie of Evergreen Botanical Studio and her 3-D preservation style matched exactly what I was looking for, so we booked our date with her as soon as we could. She was the PERFECT choice. She took my crazy wild bouquet, my grandmother’s handkerchiefs that wrapped the stems, all the extra flowers from the arrangements, and even some delphinium from her own garden (because she's such an angel and took pity on me that mine didn’t quite survive), and created a work of art that takes me directly back to my wedding day and reminds me of all the amazingness that unfolded. AND she crafted the most wonderful little memento for my Mom, that was completed in time to gift for her 50th wedding anniversary, just months after our event. Jackie was so easy to work with, providing detailed instructions for packaging and shipping the flowers from the Midwest, eased my worry by confirming as soon as she received them, and gave a timeline and explanation of how the whole preservation process works. It seems like magic that the flowers in the finished product look just as they did on the day of our wedding. There is something extra special about the care and artistry that she applies to each and every project she works on. You can feel the passion for her craft shining through, from the vibrant colors and clever composition to the expertly homemade frames. This was an important part of our wedding budget, and we are so glad we made the investment, not only as an extra special keepsake but also to support a fellow artist and small business owner. I was fortunate to have a grandmother that loved flowers, taught me how to care for them and allowed me to make bouquets from her flower gardens. I've always enjoyed combining different elements to an arrangement and creating something unique. Much of my learning started in my grandmother’s flower gardens many years ago. I enjoyed treating friends and family members to special flower arrangements. Now that my children are grown, I decided to take the leap and open my own flower business.

“Kristen and the entire team at Blossom Bliss are incredible. Even from the very first intro call, Kristen's expertise, passion and kindness were apparent – and that remained true throughout the entire wedding planning process. She was responsive and worked closely with us to make sure our proposal was exactly what we wanted it to be. But most importantly, the way Kristen and her team brought our vision to life on our wedding day left us absolutely speechless (literally had no words when we first saw the reception space). The arrangements that she created were stunning, BEYOND anything that we even envisioned. Her work really pulled the entire event together, and so many guests commented on the incredible tablescapes as well. Also, I love that Blossom Bliss donates all remaining flowers (I believe they go to nursing homes and/or local hospitals if I'm remembering correctly).
