I've hosted two all day workshops at Oddfellow's Hall, and I will definitely use the space again. It's stunning, historic, right in town, and right over the water. Folks on Orcas tend to be low stress and easy to work with, and the Oddfellows Hall crew is no exception. It's a large space with an easy to plug into sound system and versatile lighting. There's ample street parking, and it's a 1-2 minute walk from the heart of Eastsound. There's a little used public dock and beach a 30 second walk down the road. There's also a commercial kitchen downstairs you can rent and use. I've had only wonderful experiences with this venue, as a two time renter and as a guest at many events!

The scenery, especially the Mount Baker views - was absolutely stunning and felt magical without needing much extra décor. We loved that the property offered multiple beautiful options for our ceremony, which gave us so much flexibility. The get-ready cottage was a really nice touch and made the day feel relaxed and seamless. We had a unique scenario where we got married one month and held our reception later in the year - and the team was incredibly flexible and easy to work with, which made planning so much less stressful. It’s beautiful in any season, whether it’s snowy and cold or warm and sunny. For the value, the beauty, and freedom this venue offers is hard to beat. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to get married.

My husband and I had a covid wedding so we decided to throw a big reception for our 5 year anniversary instead. I reached out to multiple venues throughout the Skagit Valley. Heather at Wisteria was the only one who provided me with different pricing options to really tailor it for our event. I visited the property and it was a dream-very secluded, quiet, options for in and outdoor, large enough for our party, and of course, the cows. Our guests had a great time feeding the cows and enjoying the yard games that Wisteria set up for us. The decor room is a huge bonus too-as someone who sourced my own decorations for the initial wedding, I was incredibly relieved to have options ready and available to me without extra work. Heather and Mike were phenomenal to work with. They communicated well, were flexible with our crazy schedules and requests, had the tables and chairs set up correctly and made tear down/clean up very easy. Truly cannot recommend enough!

Stepping Stones Garden was the perfect venue for our wedding, and it holds an extra special place in our hearts. My husband’s siblings had all been married there under the previous owners, so it felt like a meaningful continuation of a beautiful family tradition. Since the new owners took over, they've made some truly stunning changes that have transformed the venue in the best way possible. The updates are thoughtful and well-designed, making the grounds even more breathtaking and the atmosphere even more magical than before. The getting-ready location was gorgeous—spacious, serene, and an ideal setting to relax before the big day. The venue itself was picture-perfect, with so many beautiful spots for photos, and the entire layout was flawless. What really stood out to me was the level of support from the staff. After not hosting weddings for a few years at Stepping Stones since the new owners took over, they were incredibly helpful in coordinating a meeting with our planner to review the layout of the space. They also worked directly with her to help with setup, which meant I didn’t have to worry about a thing and could simply enjoy my day. There was a minor mix-up with the table arrangements—the paper I had received didn’t align with the website information—but once we clarified things, everything was sorted out smoothly. The staff handled it professionally, and the setup turned out perfectly in the end. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful venue or a more supportive team to work with. The new owners have truly elevated Stepping Stones Garden, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stunning, serene, and well-managed wedding venue. It made our day unforgettable!
