She understood my vision EXACTLY, and her and her team executed it PERFECTLY! On top of Ashley's complete understanding and amazing communication, she heard all of the details that another florist could have completely overlooked. Down to including passion flower vines in my bouquet, which was such a small mention on my part in our conversations when I told her just how much I loved that one of my inspiration photos had used them, and she was able to include them in my absolutely GORGEOUS bouquet! She was able to help us keep within our budget by selecting and providing us with beautiful bulk greenery, and guided and directed us in DIYing the dreamy forest of green I had imagined on our reception tables, signs, and memorial table. Then, her and her team came in with a bunch of buckets of white florals, extras, and expertise to make everything SO absolutely perfect, and so absolutely STUNNING. From the arch pieces to the meadow boxes, from the bouquets to the boutonnieres, from the corsages to the flower girl petals, I literally could not have asked for anything more. The pieces that they created and installed were beyond words beautiful, and the way they helped us help them complete the rest was so unbelievably special, helpful, and an incredibly unique experience for us, for our bridal team, and for our family. “The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”

“Planning a wedding comes with many challenges, especially when you have a fiance with a K-1 visa. If you're like me, all of your planning is at the mercy of the immigration system. “I met Katharina Stuart years before I even met my husband. I went with a friend to a wedding show and saw the most amazing flower arrangements and floral art (think purses, jewelry boxes, and wall hangings made of flowers) at Katharina's booth. My jaw dropped at how amazing her visual and aesthetic style is. I kept her name for years, knowing one day I would want her to do my wedding. Years later when I was finally engaged myself, I went right back to Katharina to start the wedding planning process. Katharina has such a calm demeanor, and I remember her talking to me one night when I was having a meltdown about the theme and design of our wedding. Yes, most weddings don't need a theme, but being an event planner myself, I had a high bar to reach, and we wanted something special for ourselves and our guests. In our case, we wanted to transform a winery into an intimate venue, like a dinner party at a mansion full of curiosities, mysteries, and wonders. The surprise would be a speakeasy in a secret wine barrel room with a live band. It was quite a lot to pull off, and we basically had a bare room to start with. Katharina walked me through the design and vision, and she listed very clear pros/cons about each choice and decision I was waffling over. Katharina is not just a florist, but also a wedding designer. With her help, she had our wedding back on track, helping us to select the furniture, put together art pieces, screenprint the names of our guests and their table assignments onto an antique mirror, and of course flowers galore. Our flower arrangements weren't just any kind either... we asked for unique art pieces on each table, drift wood, birds nests, orchids on branches, butterflies perched on plants, and flowers under bell jars. To this day, people tell me that our wedding was the most beautiful they had ever been to and the kind of thing they only see in movies. If you want a florist who is incredibly professional, creates gorgeous arrangements that are borderline works of art, and/or someone who can help you design the perfect event, then you MUST contact Katharina. Don't sell yourself short or underestimate how important it is to have a good florist and designer! :)”

The day of my wedding I was blown away with what she was able to put together. She did my wedding bouquet, family boutonnieres and corsages, bridal bouquets, table floral arrangements, floral arrangements for the alter, and other floral decorative pieces for the ceremony. The arrangements were truly stunning and beyond what I imagined. Originally I was not going to hire a florist. And boy and I SO glad I did! It made the whole day feel so warm and beautiful.
