I knew from age 11 that I was passionate about moviemaking. I was that "weirdo" who basically had a videocamera glued to their hand all day, making movies by myself or with willing friends. It was a natural progression when a friend asked me to capture their wedding back in 2007, and I fell in love with wedding filmmaking. I have the pleasure of telling REAL stories of real people, and I get to do it in a classic, yet uniquely creative and fresh way.

Kwakoo Productions is a wedding videography company based in Detroit, Michigan but serving all of Michigan. Main shooter and owner Samuel Coicou strives to create one-of-a-kind cinematic films that couples can re-watch for years to come. From your moments spent getting ready to your grand exit, they can cover as many heartfelt moments as you wish.

I’m a wedding filmmaker based out of Atlanta, Georgia. I’ve been filming weddings since 2016 and it has become the most rewarding career I could ask for. My love for this job has taken me all over the country, from beaches to mountains, and everything in between. No destination is too big for us; adventure is always welcome!
