HEY!Hey there, I'm Kip! or as your grandparents will call me, Chip, or Skip. It's all good. I photograph people who are friggin’ insanely in love and beautiful for a living, pretty cool right? I am so lucky to capture them and make so many new friends during the process! I'm Kip, founder of Middle Child Photography! Since 2007 I have shot over 300 weddings, mostly in the Myrtle Beach, Grand Strand area. I have also traveled to the coast of New Jersey, Newport, Rhode Island, and The Bahamas.

I started photography years ago as an elective in college and I never knew what it would become. I've always maintained full time jobs (I've been a graphic designer and special education teacher) but my passion for photography kept me pursuing it on the side. Eventually I became so consumed by my efforts that I was able to go full time in my business. I care deeply about my clients. Not only do I want you to have a great time but I want you to love your photos. I work tirelessly on always growing and refining my craft to deliver the best, most timeless photos.

Owner Megan is an experienced visual storyteller who specializes in crafting captivating celebration imagery and Video full of life and wonder. I’m a wedding and portrait photographer based out of Franklinton, North Carolina (the cutest little town outside of Raleigh). I grew up in Georgia and spent the best 4 years of my life at Appalachian State University getting a degree in Commercial Photography. After I graduated, I knew I wanted to pursue photography full-time and the rest is history. I aspire to be more than a vendor on your big day. I love creating special relationships and capturing moments filled with love and excitement from the couple right after the ceremony. Every wedding is special to me and I try to make your day as stress free as possible!

Railyard Media started as an idea when one of our owners was deployed with the U.S. Army. Since that day, Railyard Media has grown to be a team of passionate photographers and videographers. One thing that we have found out in the many years we have been in this business is that your story needs to be told in the best light possible.
