Drumore Mill is a different world. It is nestled in a corner of the most rustic township in Amish Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The mill was built in 1752 as a sawmill and a grist mill. It sits in a hollow with 30 acres of tall cliffs and old trees to provide privacy, warmth, and natural beauties. There is a pristine creek that meanders through the property. The Fishing Creek supports native trout and other rare small fishes. The waterfall is adjacent to the buildings. There is a hiking trail within the property. There is wetland and much more. The combination of rustic setting, natural beauties, and historical features makes Drumore Mill amazingly beautiful. One has to see it to believe it.

“Where do I even begin?? The Drumore Mill is an oasis. Surrounded by farm land and nestled in a dark green wood, it feels like you’ve entered into a fairytale land. The moment my fiancé (now husband!) and I stepped onto the Drumore Mill property, we knew we needed to exchange our vows here. We got married in the Grist Mill beside the waterfall. I always wanted an indoor/outdoor wedding but hated the idea of a tent wedding. The Grist Mill building is an open air but covered area with tall wooden beams and lots of open windows to allow sunlight in. Thuy was a pleasure to work with throughout my long engagement. She answered all my questions and even showed up the day of my wedding to wash windows at the reception barn! You can tell she really cares about the Drumore Mill. Look, there are a lot of places you can get married. But the Drumore Mill is special because you can return to it. They have charming rustic houses on property you can stay in. You can host a family reunion or a smaller vow renewal ceremony or just go on an anniversary trip there. How many other couples do you know who can stay the night at the place they got married? Because that’s what my husband and I did. We spent our wedding night on property, steps away from where we exchanged vows. We got to wake up the next morning and walk the beautiful grounds of the Drumore Mill taking in all the scenery and relive the memories from the day prior. One of our guests approached my husband during the wedding and said “I want my daughters to get married here”. You can’t get a better compliment than that! So in short, if you’re looking for a one of a kind place, where nature and architecture blend together, and you can return there to reminisce with loved ones—then consider the Drumore Mill. See for yourself what beauty I’m talking about. Because I know my husband and I can’t wait to go back!”

“From day 1 working with Tyler we knew this was our venue. He was able to answer all questions and always got back to us in a timely matter. “We had a beautiful wedding weekend in April at the Stone Ridge Farm Inn! From the moment I began communication with Lori, she was incredibly responsive and attentive to all of my questions throughout the planning process. The venue is definitely a hidden gem and it was perfect for our intimate wedding of 27 people. We decided not to hire a wedding planner, and I’m so glad we didn’t because Lori and Steve were there to help with anything we needed. We DIY’d all of our wedding décor, and Lori helped incorporate some of the Carriage House’s existing decorations with ours, which gave the space a more romantic vibe. I made our two wedding cakes, but I forgot to bring cake stands for them. Lori was so kind to go out of her way to pick up two stands for us to use so we could display the cakes properly. Steve and Lori spent the previous day helping us set up, running through our ceremony rehearsal with us, and making sure our guests found their rooms and got parked without any issues. Steve also handled our ceremony music from our Spotify playlists perfectly. We were told that he wasn’t very “tech savvy,” but we gave him a simple list of songs and cues, and he absolutely understood the assignment. The dining area at the Inn was set up beautifully for our welcome dinner. Lori had just recently gotten longer dining tables for the Inn, so it was the perfect amount of space to seat everyone. Steve and Lori gave us space to host our welcome dinner, and if we ever needed anything from them, all we had to do was text or call them and they’d be right over. After dinner, we had karaoke at the Inn, which ended up being one of the most fun parts of the weekend. There’s a karaoke microphone upstairs overlooking the main area, and all we had to do was hook up our laptop and pull up karaoke songs on YouTube. Everyone had a blast singing and hanging out! We also hosted a send-off brunch the next morning after the wedding, and Lori met our caterer and helped them with setup while we and our guests were able to sleep in. The Inn itself is beautiful, cozy, and incredibly well stocked. The kitchen has plenty of plates, glassware, utensils, and anything else you might need. There are nine beautifully decorated guest rooms, which comfortably accommodated 22 of our guests, including us. The Carriage House was the perfect reception space for our guest count. We had plenty of room for dinner, desserts, and a dance floor. We were also able to have our ceremony outdoors, and the sunset during cocktail hour was absolutely mesmerizing. We brought our own speaker and laptop for music, and it sounded great all evening. We didn’t even need a DJ. Every little detail was so thoughtfully considered, and Steve and Lori made us feel completely supported from start to finish. The entire weekend was so wonderful, and if I could do it all over again, I would! If anyone is thinking of hosting their intimate sized wedding somewhere, definitely host it here! It’s the perfect place to spend your weekend with your closest friends and family.”

“We held our rehearsal dinner and welcome party at Plumsteadville Inn and we are so happy we did! It was the perfect kickoff to our wedding weekend! We held both events in the upstairs banquet room, which worked great with our numbers (about 40 rehearsal dinner guests and an additional 50 welcome party attendees), as everyone had enough room to walk around and mingle. Matt and team were very easy to work with throughout the whole process from booking the space, choosing the menu, accommodating for food allergies and night-of service. The food, of course, was delicious! And the staff was so attentive and took care of us the whole night. All our guests had a great time. Highly recommend booking your next event at the Plum!”
