I first entered the floral design world as an intern in 2016 and noticed a lack of originality in designs and a need for more connection between the florist and the couple. When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

My earliest memories are always centered around picking flowers in my mothers gardens. I would grab one of the glass bottles she collected and play around with any flowers I could find. Flower design is my passion. My shop is located in our 150 year old barn that in itself is full of character. I try to be a vendor who is easy and fun to work with. I am human and understand money does not grow on trees so I try my hardest to work within the client's budget. Each bouquet I create tells a story, each unique beautiful.

Helianthus and Lace is a wedding and event floral design business serving the deeply in love. Helianthus is the Latin term for sunflower and comes from the root Helio and Greek Helios, meaning Sun. She has been a floral designer since 2004, first at a floral shop in Lancaster County and then branching out on her own business venture in 2008 doing exclusive wedding designs from her floral studio in Myerstown. She has received training not only from her former floral position but also advanced training specifically in wedding design from instructors at the Longwood Gardens Design School.

Richwine’s Nature’s Gifts is floral studio in S. Central PA, specializing in wedding & event florals. Meet Nichole Klunk, the owner and lead floral designer at Pretty Posies by Nichole. My husband Ashley and I have been married for 16 years. Our two wild and full of energy sons keep us busy! Family is everything to us! I have always been a flower lover... Even as a child I would harvest all my grandmothers blooming flowers. Then make bouquets with them for my family. So it was no surprise in 2009 when I volunteered to arrange my cousins wedding flowers and fell in love! After that I was hooked and knew I wanted to pursue this as my career. So I complete a floral design course with Ashworth College in 2009 with honors.

Lavender and Locks is a floral design studio and flower farm. We offer a wide range of floral designs and locally, sustainably grown flowers in season. The flower farm is located in Elizabethtown, PA with additional acreage in Mifflintown, PA. In addition to custom floral designs, we supply flowers for the DIY person or bride. We grow a wide range of seasonal flowers, greenery and woody stems for various events. We love to forage around the farms to find that unique branch to include in our designs. We also are providing dried flowers and branches to enjoy in winter months.

Rhapsody in Bloom opened it's doors in August 2017 in Palmyra, PA as a full service wedding and event floral business. Owner Bridget has a degree from Delaware Valley College in Plant Science and Floriculture where she learned to combine her love of design and science into shaping arrangements out of precious flowers. She generally watches too much Netflix, loves her cats, and has a Barbet named Violette who hangs at the shop and tries to eat things she shouldn't.
